I used Laplink to transfer files from an older HP pc running Windows 10 to a newer HP pc with SSD. I experienced no problems at all - the instructions were clear, the hookup was easy, and the transfer took less than two hours. Very pleased with the results, and would definitely recommend Laplink.

Software wouldnt download. Had to call tech support. Tech support responded immediately, took control of my computer & corrected the glitches. Transfer was smooth, but a couple of programs didnt transfer (printer. for example).

I have used Laplink PC Mover for around 10 years (each time I need to upgrade my computer). Each time the process was successful. The very first time I used Laplink PC Mover the transfer took a bit of attempts (as my old computer was having issues with one of its failing drives. Their support staff were fantastic and spent all the time necessary to resolve the issue and ultimately the transfer went smoothly. I have used it twice this year and it is even easier to use than it used to be. I still needed to chat with one of their support personnel (at 4 am et on a Monday morning) and the on-line chat person resolved the issue relatively quickly and the transfer went perfectly.

This is the second time I have used PC Mover when transferring PC files, folders, music, photos from one computer to another. Recently bought when I purchased a new HP All-In-One desk computer with Windows 11. The transfer was easy, smooth from my old Dell (Windows 10) to my new HP. What is also great is that included in the package is an Easy Safe Erase application to wipe your hard drive clean when done with the old computer, which I am taking to local community E-recycling center. Personally, I would not know how to successfully transfer all existing information safely; I trust PC Mover and it works for me! Even transferred over paid subscription programs (Microsoft 365 Family and Pandora).

Worked exactly as advertised. Once the old and new PC had the app and connected with the included cable, it took about 6 hours to transfer a half a terabyte of data and programs. A few programs required the product key to reactivate but I was pleased that everything from my internet, printer, all apps, every file and directory was brought over. It saved me hours and hours. Great product. I highly recommend it.

I purchased Laplink software to transfer my old programs on my old laptop to my new one. With the help of the Laplink PC mover cord, it worked like a charm. My daughter was getting my previous laptop to I purchased LapLink PC Mover for her as well and again, it was an excellent, smooth transaction. I am so pleased that I have already recommended it to a friend, which she purchased with the same results. They have made a life time customer out of me.

Program moved most programs complete. Did not move Norton successfully. Had to contact Norton Tech support for them to fix registration to get it to install. Some programs needed product ID/serial number reinstalled. The whole process of moving took 19 hours not counting reactivating programs and fixing glitches.
