I used Laplink PCMover to transfer data from my old labtop to a new labtop. Although it took over 36 hours to transfer my data as I had lots of data, it seamlessly did a job of transferring. I was able to start using the new labtop without skipping a beat. I highly recommend this great product.

It DOSNT WORK and you CAN NOT GET ANY HELP! I left messages at the tech line and no return calls. Mines now in the TRASH! Money down the hole! DO NOT BUY THIS JUNK!

Seems to work well enough but not all programs transfer fully and/or require to be updated/reinstalled. I had an issue where the original hard drive failed during the transfer. After recovering the drive the transfer picked up where it left off. Once completed though we discovered that many files did not get transferred. Cannot necessarily blame the software, but it was frustrating nonetheless.

It didn’t work!

My son told about this (he’s a computer programmer) and it easily transferred all the data from my old computer to the new one. It’s easy and straightforward to use. I would recommend using this app to everyone that needs to do this.

This thing does most of what it says it will do. MOST. Not all. Took me two full days to work on getting some important programs —or “apps” if you prefer—back up and running. And a week later I’m still working on one.

Purchased PCmover along with a new laptop recently. Had an issue with the transfer process but a call to Laplink resolved that and am up and running fine. Thanks Laplink! PCmover made transferring programs and files from my old laptop (Windows 10) to my new one (Windows 10) so much easier. Would recommend to anyone.

Easy enough to launch and it did move a lot of files, but then I discovered that I had to reinstall many programs before they would run. Had issues in particular with the Corel Graphics Suite that were resolved only by making a new installation. I have long made a practice of keeping EVERY personal file in either the Documents or Pictures folders so moving to the new machine was mostly just copying the contents of these two folders to the new machine from my external backup. I got PC Mover specifically to see if it could save me time migrating programs that I use regularly as well. It did not, sigh...
