Tech support was great they were patience both on phone and chat. My old pc gave me a little trouble but Laplink worked grest.

Really works well for moving from older PC running Windows 10 Pro to new PC running Windows 11 Pro. Most applications worked flawlessly including browser setting, passwords, data files. We use POP3 for email and retain email history for compliance...everything came over perfect. Most apps required reentering user ID and passwords to confirm licenses but this was expected. Very versatile program, recommend you read the instructions.

easy to use

Ive used it on four PCs since 2014, including two in the past couple of months and one last year. It has not been routine. In at least the last three uses, I have needed to avail myself of tech support. But on each occasion, the support has been great. The were knowledgeable, helpful, and patient. In the end, all four new PCs were set up as I wanted them, with the majority of the programs working as they had on the old PC, and with my file/document structure transferring onto the new PC as it had been on the old PC.

I didnt realize the time required to make the transfer.. I on line Chatted with a Technical person who talked me through the process and then told me that it would several hours to complete.. Next day the new computer was up an running with the exception of several programs (not critical programs) which did not transfer.. A week later the new computer incurred a hardware failure and ceased to operate. I was given a new computer by the store where I bought the first one, but my one time use of PC Mover prohibited me from using it again. I wasnt going to purchase another PC Mover out of fear it might happen again.. I contacted Laplink and described my situation and they One Time reactivated my original registration number. Using the program again, I then transferred everything from my old computer to the second new one with no problem...Much, Much easier and time saving than doing it the old fashioned way... Email and contacts transferred flawlessly as did 95% of the other programs/information. They only way to make the transfer UNLESS you want to pay the store that sold you the new computer to do it at a much higher price and less privacy.

There are simpler ways of moving data and the ability to move applications is marginal. Not worth the money and the inability to use only one set of PCs is a huge negative.

The computer would not boot after using PCMover. I had to have the computer fixed. Ultimately several programs did not transfer and will have to be repurchased. I will never try this product again.

Ive used this and EaseUS and they are about the same price and license structure. I used 2 of these to upgrade a customers 2 computers, and it pulled over all the compatible apps and data. I had to so some minor configuring and password installs, but it saved me many hours reinstalling software.

We use both the regular and Pro versions of this software and I have zero complaints. makes transferring a breezez. I set it up on the old and new pc and once they are paired up, transferring is a breeze. Lots of options for choosing exactly what to transfer or not and you can even transfer from dissimilar profiles.

I used it to transfer the OSs (Win 7 and Win 10; separate licenses). It did exactly what was claimed for it. Additionally, when I had to repeat the Win 7 transfer due to a problem caused by a Microsoft update, Laplink reactivated the license so I could redo the transfer.
