> 3 dayLooked at instructions tried to log in ,never could get through the log in instructions. I sent the software back and didn’t get a refund. I would never recommend this software to anybody and the fact that they would not refund the money explains what a screwed up company they are.

> 3 daySuper easy... everything transfered, even desktop shortcuts. Follow the instructions and software walkthrough. Still will take some time, but way less than other transfer methods.

> 3 dayIt was so simple to use & it transferred everything without corruption or confusion. My old computer did not have an ethernet port, so it had to be done through the wireless network. It took 14 hours over the wireless. They say it only takes 3 hours with the included wire. I believe them. Even at 14 hours, start it after supper & it will be ready by breakfast.

> 3 dayThere isnt much to say other than it worked perfectly. Installed the software on both machines, followed the instructions and it transferred everything from the old to the new machine, in a reasonable amount of time.

Greater than one weekI was able to use this software to copy files from an old PC to a new laptop. Overall, I am pleased and would recommend it. It took a few hours and in copying to the laptop, it retained the file folder structure and desktop shortcuts and programs on my old PC, as promised. The one feature that didnt work for me was the deletion of old files on my old PC. I opted for the medium/high security option that wipes the old PC several times. The process just got stuck after about an hour with no progress. The PCMover Tech Support person said it just needed more time and to let it run overnight. They would not acknowledge that sometimes the deletion process doesnt work/doesnt finish. I let it run for three days during which there was no progress and then I got a black screen. I could tell my old PC wasnt even performing any activities - it was silent and still. Finally I shut it down and could not confirm from the PC Mover app whether the files had in fact been deleted or not - there was no information shown regarding my old PC even though earlier it had shown as deletion being in process. There was no info. on the PC Mover site or under FAQ addressing this type of situation.

> 3 dayNot only did this not transfer most of the information that it was supposed to it actually screwed up many of the settings on the new computer. I would have been much better off just copying my files to a external hard drive and then transfering them to my new computer

> 3 dayIt didnt work exactly perfectly since some of the settings and other things didnt exactly transfer. Also while it said that it wouldnt transfer programs from the old computer to new computer that are already on the new computer, its not exactly true, although technically correct. For example my old computer had Office 2013 and the new one has Office 2016 and all of the Office 2013 programs and settings were loaded onto the new computer which caused some confusion.

> 3 dayCould have had more options regarding what to copy and where. Still better than reinstalling all apps.
