> 3 dayUsed this product to transfer selected files from old currupted windows 10 machine to a newer windows 10 machine. I am a senior ++ citizen and sometimes do not pay close enough attention to the very specific directions.

> 3 dayThis company basically scammed me out of $40. I tried to use it to transfer files from my old PC and to a new mini-PC. The mini-pc did not have quite enough hard disk space to do the transfer. It has a fixed EMMC Solid sate drive which is not upgradeable. So it failed the transfer. Another PC was purchased that could be upgradeable. I attempted to transfer to the new PC and The program would not register the new PC. I appears they want me to purchase a new license because of this. I now have to fight with them to see if they will fix it but I am not hopeful.

> 3 dayThis program saved me time transferring my old computer files and programs to the new computer. There were a couple of snags though. The ethernet cable connection on the old computer stopped working and I did not realize that was the problem. I dont have unlimited data monthly and didnt want to use wifi. I called tech support, and the lady was very helpful and patient, and I was told how to remedy the situation. I had tried their online info first, but was unable to find the solution there. I think they should improve the instructions there. Also, there are programs that will still need to be reinstalled, but the majority of the old computer was moved to the new one.

Greater than one weekI tried to transfer files from a Windows 7 computer to a Windows 10 computer, and it simply wouldn’t work.

Greater than one weekIt is not really moving as it advertise. it moves files on your old computer, but thats pretty much it. You can do the exactly same thing by getting a HD and move all data there and move it to the new computer. They said applications and apps, and looks or setting will transfer over to the new computer, but not quite. The software did not work as described and explained by the instruction or sales person told me. I called and got support from IT, but still did not work as how it was advertised. very disappointed. I would not buy this again.

> 3 dayI use PCmover every time I buy a new computer. It works very well for me, but a note of caution. You should be a competent computer user to make it work well. Im able to deal with technical glitches, but someone else might not be. Transfer is easy using the provided high-speed cable. I was surprised how quickly it went, and having the cable sped things along. Transfers are never completely flawless, however, and once a program is moved, it may require some tweaking, re-registering, etc.

> 3 dayI read many of the other reviews that all said to follow the instructions precisely. I did and the transfer of all my dta, programs, etc from my old Dell XPS Win7 Pro PC to my new Dell XPS Win10 Pro went smoothly without any errors.

> 3 dayThe whole process was fairly simple. The only issue I had was a licensing one with Microsoft Office, and that was resolved with Microsoft. Apparently, licenses are not carried over.
