> 3 dayIt is not really moving as it advertise. it moves files on your old computer, but thats pretty much it. You can do the exactly same thing by getting a HD and move all data there and move it to the new computer. They said applications and apps, and looks or setting will transfer over to the new computer, but not quite. The software did not work as described and explained by the instruction or sales person told me. I called and got support from IT, but still did not work as how it was advertised. very disappointed. I would not buy this again.

> 3 dayI used this to move content from one laptop to a new one. Steps are clearly written, but you do need to pay attention to each step. If you have any issues understanding what to do, you can chat with them for tech support, but that being said, I did not have to contact them. It does take some time, so be patient.

Greater than one weekIf you have a method to copy your data files over to some temporary storage and you have a little confidence in you computer support ability, then just do it yourself. My setup does not use any fancy or obscure programs and I have some computer savvy. PCmover was still a pain to deal with.

> 3 dayThis is the third time I have used this software. Transferred just about everything on old computer to new. Did have to go back and put in Registration keys for various software programs so make sure you have this info available.

> 3 dayFor the most part this did a pretty good transfer... but it was not everything and it definitely isnt like moving one computer to another. Ill probably use it again, well maybe, but it would have to be on sale... but its going to be a while before I need to transfer again. Just be prepared to do a little bit of self transfer...

16-04-2025I have a Win 10 Pro Workstation with Raid 0 SSDs for boot drive and Raid 5 LSI Megaraid for Data Drives. Needed to migrate everything to a new system and did not want to re-install all the programs, passwords, and all the crud with a new install. PCmover moved all my programs, data and associated crap overnight (28.3TB) to the Raid-0 dual WD-Black 1TB SN850 NVMe Gen4 M.2s, and a 16 SSD Raid-5 array on a LSI-9360, split into 3 virtual data drives. Instead of a 2-3 day re-install, it took an hour to set up Win10 pro Enterprise Workstation, 25 minutes to start PCmover, and woke up the next morning to a working system. I recommend PCmover without hesitation. It moved the System Drive (Raid-0, 2TB) and the 3 Virtual Data Drives (Raid-5, 4TB, 4TB, 20TB) and the 8TB disk drive used for backups.

> 3 dayThis software worked perfectly for me. I followed the instructions, and the process went through without any issues. It did take a while, 7.5 hours, for 350-360gb. So, consider the time when you plan to move the data to your new PC/laptop.
