> 24 hourGood price. Bearings are undersized and need reamed/filed to fit. Even after filing the sprocket shaft and motor shaft to dress/remove any burrs, the bearing tolerances were too tight to fit. Even after filing the sprocket shaft quite a bit, it still would not fit. I reused the original bearing as it wasnt worn and fit very closely. I ended up filing and fitting the motor shaft end support bearing and getting a good fit, but it was time consuming to ensure it wasnt opened up too much. Likely beyond what the average home project do-it-yourself personal will want to tackle. My opener is about 8 years old and still all original equipment but this is not a direct fit/replacement as described.

> 24 hourWorked on my set up. Old pro from 89. Extra pieces just in case... Still make sure compatible with your part no. Pic of bad part. View from the back. Removed. Then took off bottom and sides just to make it easier putting it back together. Hard part was doing the ajustment of chain afterwards

> 24 hourTerrific! Just saved me at least $100 for a new opener! I will leave it to other reviewers for the details of installation (or easy to find videos), but I will say that it took me about 1.5 hours to complete the repair. Keep in mind that was for the chain drive gear/spindle only and re-adjusting the limits. I did not replace the worm gear as it appeared to be fine.
