> 3 dayThe description said it was compatible with most Liftmaster openers. I have two major issues with this unit. The first is that on the top of my old unit, there were two holes to screw in the Chain guide in front of the sprocket. This unit had no such screw holes, I had to drill them myself and tap the holes so the screws would fit and catch. The second issue is that the top metal sprocket is much smaller than the original, with only 8 teeth as opposed to 10 teeth on my original unit. This means that I had to take in a lot more slack in the chain and it doesnt sound like it is as smooth as it was originally. So yes, it works - kind of, but not great. Unfortunately, I needed this repair done quickly and didnt have time to have the garage door inoperable for a long period of time or I would have sent the unit back and ordered another somewhere else. BTW, this is my second gear swap out (different garage door), the first one went very smoothly, unfortunately, I ordered directly from a seller and couldnt find my transaction history or I would have ordered that one instead.... Update: found out that for my Liftmaster Security Plus, the proper replacement part is 41C4470.

> 3 dayThe instructions were a little fuzzy for a non-technical person. I chose not to replace the worm gear so I jumped ahead to just replace the gear and sprocket shaft. Youtube videos helped more than the instructions. Well worth not having to call a professional company!

> 3 dayThis project took me 2 hours to complete and saved me a lot of money. The kit is a good choice for anyone who is a do-it-youselfer. Every piece fit except one. Im not complaining but I needed to find a new screw to anchor the chain sprocket shaft to the main housing because the 3 machine drilled holes didnt line up with corresponding holes with housing. 2 out of 3 did line up. I just needed one screw to finish the job. Im glad this kit was available. Satisfied customer!
