Perfect fit for my 1/2hp chain driven Craftsman garage door opener. Start to finish only took about 30 minutes to replace. If will take a lot longer if you start replacing the bearings, bushings, and worm gear. The sprocket on mine sheared off on top. Everything else appeared to be in good condition. Make sure you use the provided grease to grease all of the gears in the unit. Even though they are plastic, it will help prevent friction and premature wear. If you are unsure of how to do it, there are plenty of videos on YouTube that are helpful.

Parts came in lift master bags, parts fit perfect and I was able to revive my 1997 garage door opener for low $$, took me about 45 mins to 1 hour to install.
