Nintendo Switch Pro Controller

I havent owned it a year yet and its already breaking down. Joy-con is sticking, it wont keep a charge regardless of use, the internal gyro controller only occasionally works and when it does decide to work it fouls game-play with its randomness. The controller is kept in a case and is not abused in use. It beats the built in controller but seriously questionable quality issues. If I can locate the packaging, Ill look into the manufacturer warranty. Update: manufacturer will repair for $20 plus $10 return shipping. So $349 for a console with controls so bad, that it requires an additional $70 for a decent controller experience... Thanks Nintendo... updating to one star

In my opinion, it is the best controller out there for the Nintendo Switch. We have tried a few as well as the joycon handles. These have great batter life and are durable. I now have 4 of them because they are so excellent.

Get the Pro Controller, you wont regret it. Perfect for Splatoon 2, Fortnite and even Zelda. I was unsure when I first got my Switch (at launch) if I should fork out so much extra for the Pro Controller. Im not a hardcore gamer and thought the Joy-Cons and grip would be enough.... How wrong I was! Ive been using the Pro Controller for over a month and I regret I didnt buy it sooner. It feels solid and sturdy. The triggers and buttons have much more feeling than the Joy-Cons. The button layout is very comfortable. But most importantly, the analogue sticks feel (and probably are) more responsive and accurate. It is worth spending another $60 for this controller, it will improve your gaming experience with your Nintendo Switch. Bonus: The Pro Controller works with Windows 10 PCs (requires Bluetooth)!

If youre looking for a controller, Id look no further. Despite the price, its arguably one of the best controllers for switch. Inputs are quick to respond, comfortable in handling, and pairs to switch with ease. Out of all my controllers, this is definitively my favorite. That said, if price isnt an issue or if youre on the fence when comparing with a controller thats a few bucks cheaper; take the plunge and get this.

Everything about this controller is a huge improvement over the standard Joy-Cons that come with the Switch. The controller has a nice heft to it and fits larger hands a lot better than the standard Joy-Cons. My hands dont cramp up using this controller like they did with the other ones. It feels very well made. The analog sticks have a better feel to them with greater resistance than the standard Joy-Con. The buttons are larger and firmer. The vibration feedback is improved as well. Battery life is great too. If I had any complaints it would be that not all games support the controller, some for more obvious reasons than others.

The Pro controller provides a smoother gameplay expericence compared to the original switch joy-cons. No drift issues so far after 2+ years of use (original joy-cons started drifting within one year...). Definitely a must have for switch games!

We used to play switch with the joy-con but recently some of the buttons on joy-con are almost going to die, after heavy use by my son during the stay home period. Also, I am really not the fan of the size of joy-con. So I decide to have a try on the pro controller and it turns out great experience of playing. The size is perfect and the buttons are obviously durable and nice touch. Wil buy another one.

The buttons, joysticks, and D pad on this feel great. The button click is very satisfying. The size is smaller than an xbox controller, but is not too small to be uncomfortable for long play sessions. I would say its a little better than a standard xbox controller and way better than the third party controllers available for the switch. The controller also does a decent job of turning the switch on remotely.
