> 3 dayI do really like this controller. Its heavy, seems super sturdy, and connects to the Switch right away. I just wish the joysticks were more stiff. Its just to easy to move, and for trying to be super precise that doesnt help. But Im still enjoying it.

Greater than one weekplaying mario kart with this controller is wayyyy better than using the controller it comes with since those are so small and cramp the hand after long uses. its heavier feel keeps it feeling like previous controllers. the controllers the switch comes with are also just as fine but then again i leave those to my brothers haha. recommendation for saving money because these things can get costly. buy yourself one, the switch comes with its own controller version that can break apart into 2 smaller ones so total thats 3 remotes total then just get another set of the brek apart ones so if one literally break apart you got a spare, if you really want everyone to feel speacial though go for it because these controllers are really nice. they also come with a charging cord to connect to the port in the back of the switch. overall keep on gaming *thumbs up*

> 3 dayWas exactly what was advertised and works great with the console. One issue I have run into is when using it with any kind of emulator on the computer, the joy stick does not seem to be calibrated correctly. Using the OpenEmu emulator, during many games the character will not go into a full run forwards, and will go ridiculously fast if I pull back making them go in reverse. I do not notice this with the games on the consoles I’ve played on, so maybe they are able to adjust for the miscalibration while the computer programs just can’t seem to calibrate it totally correctly. My solution has been to switch the controls to the D-pad while playing emulated games. Overall, it’s great though, and much more comfortable than the joy-con controllers that come with the Switch.

> 3 dayI purchased 1 of these about 2 years back. Loved how theyre able to last quite awhile after charging, so I decided to get another. The new one I received was probably a defected one. I would attach the charger, and the orange light would light up, but after less than 30 seconds, the light would go out. Tried to keep it on the charger for an hour thinking it would still charge, but it didnt. Issued a replacement, and they immediately sent out a new controller. The new one works great, and charges normally.

> 3 dayIn my opinion, despite its relatively high price for a controller, its the definitive way to enjoy your Switch on a TV or monitor. For people with big hands, youll be able to play it perfectly fine and comfortably versus with the awkward positioning of the normal Switch Joycons. This controller is also very rugged, has a reliable battery life, and good connection distance.

> 3 dayI have had a better experience with the pro controller than I have with joycons considering the joycons drift a lot.

> 3 dayI bought this hoping it would be an improvement from my 20-dollar wired controller I had bought for the Switch, but the cons are starting to outweigh the pros. I bought that controller because I have no interest in using the standard joycon that came with the system (I grew up with the old NES and enjoyed the wired controllers all the way through PS2 and I say if it aint broke, dont fix it). Sadly, my old 20-dollar switch controller started going wonky with its left toggle and became very irritating trying to play Animal Crossing--my character kept trying to face south all the time and it was hard to move the cursor over items I wanted in my inventory. So, I bought this! I figured, well, it comes with a cord, maybe I can leave it plugged in all the time and screw the battery charging madness. It has rumble and the ability to use amiibo, so why not? I shouldve bought another 20-dollar one. On first impression, I liked the way this controller felt in my hands, the handles were slightly thinner than the other one I was using. But the buttons are not as tactile, which makes pressing them less sure than my old controller. The plus button is imbedded rather than protrudes, which makes it more difficult to press, a bad thing if you play Animal Crossing. I wanted to use the controller right out of the box, but it had to charge first. No problem, right? Wrong. The cord is super short! Unless youre a little kid who wants to sit on the floor, you cant play a game with this short cord, and thats not a good idea anyway. I had to sit forward on my couch to use it with the cord and my big modern tv started hurting my head pretty fast. I had to dish out more money to buy some other, longer cord that Im praying will work. I had also figured I will put up with charging the thing and use it as a wireless controller. Nope. Just today, day 2 of having the controller, my AC character started walking left and I couldnt control it. Apparently, my Switch lost the signal to my controller: who tf needs that in the middle of gameplay? Also, the toggles are not as wide as my old controller. They are probably as wide as the joycon ones, which is not good. I bought the xbox-style controller for the bigger buttons and toggles. Its easier to grip and abuse the bigger toggles. I recommend this controller only if you like what I said above. You like charging your controller all the time? You like sitting close to your tv trying to play when you plug it in? You like mushy buttons and tiny toggles? Then go for it.

> 3 dayMy brother has picked up his Switch again and quickly realized that he still preferred an Xbox type controller. I recommended him the Pro Controller, and it has quickly turned his gameplay around. He hasnt experienced any drifting as he does with the joycons, and we both like that the buttons feel more sturdy in the hand.

> 3 dayEverything about this controller is comfortable except the price. But, a good controller is always worth it.
