Nintendo Switch Pro Controller

> 3 dayI ordered this controller to have a second one so that my husband and I don’t have to share Joy-Con controller halves, which get uncomfortable after long-time play. It is very comfortable to hold, though after getting used to the Joy-Cons in the grip, I found I had to get used to the layout of this controller all over again. It also feels like it was made for someone with large hands. I have average-sized hands, so while the controller is still perfectly usable to me, it just feels a little large. Bottom line: my husband loves having his own controller now (and prefers the feel of the Pro controller), and I usually play with the Joy-Con controller in the grip, so we are both happy.

16-11-2024Used this controller for a few hours for Animal Crossing then on the next day, the left joystick had drifting problems. Probably a bad batch, and needs to be returned. **Update** With the latest system update which is supposed to fix the joystick problem, and after resetting my controller to factory settings and desyncing then resyncing it, the problem is fixed now. Changed my rating from 1 star to 4 stars. Its weird to me how this was a software issue, but glad its fixed. :)

> 3 dayI played a lot of video games growing up and held a lot of controllers throughout my life. This is a quality built controller that is very comfortable in your hand. Ive held both the Xbox cotnroller nad Ps4 controller before and none felt as good as this controller. So for comfortability, this controller is a win in my book. The battery life is great and last over 30 hours according to the instruction manual.I havent used it that long to test it out but so far, it never ran out on me. This came with a USB-c charger that can be plugged into the switch dock so its convenience. Overall, the feels, the look, and the comfortability of this controller are a must have for all hard core gamer and casual alike. 5/5

> 3 dayIts so much more comfortable in my hand than the joycon is I feel more freedom of movement I have long fingers and when I use the joy con I can almost completely wrap my hand all the way around it and touch my wrist the Pro controller I dont have that problem save up your money and get one you wont be disappointed yeah its a little on the expensive side but even if you can go to Etsy you can get a 3D printed holder so that you can mount your switch screen on top of the controller. Hows that for ease of access lol

> 3 dayI was torn between buying this Pro controller or another set of Joy Con controllers + grip. The latter was actually more expensive but naturally you could turn the Joy Con into two smaller controllers, accommodating more players. However, I went with the Pro Controller and havent regretted it since. I use my Switch docked 70% of the time and this controller makes gaming on it perfect. The build quality is superb, the buttons are responsive and it just feels premium. Ive been using it for about 20-30 hours so Ill be sure to make an update around the 1 month mark (which is when it seems the left joystick craps out on a lot of these controllers). If you play a lot of solo games docked, get this controller. The Joy Con + grip is definitely serviceable, but take your game up a notch with the pro especially if you play games like Splatoon 2. Highly recommended, so far.

> 3 dayI love the feel of this controller. The placement of the buttons - the quality. ive had mine almost a year and Ie had no issues with it. I am a little bummed that I read that the latency is behind the wired gamecube controller. Even when u connect the controller to the switch via a wire it is still behind the gamecube, which doesnt make sense. Luckily this only matters for competitive fighting games, so unless youre planning on bringing your controller to competitive tournaments, youre good. Every switch owner needs this controller.

> 3 dayThe Nintendo Switch Pro Controller is a game changer (pun intended). I first thought that I loved the Joy Con controllers included with the console more than anything. It wasnt until I got the pro controller as a gift that I found out what I was missing. I fee like I have way more control over my games with the pro controller as opposed to the very small joy con controllers. The battery life on this thing is outstanding. I can play 3-4 game sessions of 4-5 hours each before ever getting a low battery notification, and they charge quickly. If you have not given the pro controller a shot because the price tag being almost as much as a game, I totally get it. I would much rather have a new game over a controller too! Once you have a few games that you play consistently this comes worth getting for sure.

> 3 dayGot this after trying a cheaper third party controller. This one is way better, you get what you pay for.
