Nintendo Switch Pro Controller

Work tremendously well. I do not feel like these are going to mess up if they are dropped. Expensive but very good quality

This controller is pretty good for people wanting an improvement over the Joy-Cons that come with the console. It has almost all of the features the Joy-Cons had (theres no IR sensor), it feels pretty good (doesnt feel cheap at all!), and it has a great battery life. Compared to the Switchs included Joy-Cons, this controller is larger and has a directional pad. Overall, its a very fantastic controller. However, if youre buying more than one, the price adds up rather dramatically, as they cost $60-$70 each. If you want a cheaper (but still great) alternative, PowerA makes Nintendo-certified USB controllers for under half the price, though these do lack motion control and rumble.

The feel and durability of the Pro Controller is way better than Joy Cons, and is a must have for playing on the TV. However, after about ~800 hrs of smash and other games, my left joy stick began to drift/picking up bad responses. Sad, because it is an incredibly comfortable controller and I like it way more than the GC controller for Smash. Still better durability than the Joy Cons, but not up to Nintendos standards as far as older gen controllers (GC controller)

Ive used some of the generic brands and a lot of them died after less than a month. Buying the legit controllers was a major game changer.

This was a gift for my son, who is a big gamer. It was actually to replace the one he was using. He loves it and I believe uses it every day.

I have had the Switch for a year now, and the whole time I have been using the Joy-Con controllers in the grip, as I was surprised with how comfortable they were, even with my fairly large hands. I got the pro controller after my girlfriend moved in with me so we could play together more comfortably rather than using one Joy-Con each. I always thought the pro controller looked meh, as if the build quality would be distinctly average, but I was definitely wrong about that. It is exceedingly comfortable, and I mean the most comfortable controller I have ever used. It is as if Nintendo just decided to make the most ergonomic and functional controller they could, and they did just that. It does not look super flashy, but it is a damn fine controller. The buttons are big and comfortable, the controller sits nicely in the hand, the triggers are designed really well so they feel great and are natural to rest your fingers on. I know the controller is pricey, but if you play the Switch a fair bit at home docked, then its worth it. Great investment

I bought this controller to play Zelda skyward sword. This controller made me have a second opinion about the game that I didn’t like that much before. Comfortable, durable! Highly recommended
