Nintendo Switch Pro Controller

> 3 dayThe controller is great for couch sessions. I got sick of sliding off the joy cons whenever I docked the switch, so this was a great upgrade. It functions perfectly and synced with my switch out of the box. The only negative I would say is that I tried to use it as a pc controller and had some issues pairing it to my Windows desktop. However once I did, it worked flawlessly. Although I then had some issues pairing it back to my switch. All in all if you plan on using this as a dedicated switch controller you cant go wrong. If you want to swap it between devices, maybe go with a different controller or stay wired.

> 3 dayThe pro controller is pretty solid. There was flawless connectivity and almost non-existent input lag when I was laying smash bros. The setting up/ pairing of the controller to the switch is almost instantaneous and incredibly easy. VERY, VERY long battery. I tested to see how long the controller battery would last without charging it and got up to 38 hours straight, but when I broke it up into daily game sessions, I got up to a week and a half without charging it. USB-C support and HD rumble are some pretty nice features. The textured grip and textured buttons are pretty satisfying. My problems with the controller have to be about 2 things. #1, the price is incredibly jacked up, I admit its a good controller, but 70 dollars is way too much, even more than an entire switch game. 2#, the A feels way too of to the side when playing, as well as it feels like its jammed sometimes.

> 3 dayI have had a better experience with the pro controller than I have with joycons considering the joycons drift a lot.

> 3 dayThis OEM Nintendo Switch controller is an absolute must if your playing docked on your TV. It is much more comfortable than using two joycons with the controller they slide into (supplied with the switch).

> 3 dayThis controller is what you pay for in a good way. Its reliable, well built, and feels good to play (most) games on. 2D games are kinda a crapshoot unless you dont mind playing on joystick. The battery life is long and in the 6 weeks Ive owned this, Ive only had to charge it 3 times, counting the first charge when it delivered (the battery is not precharged). The controller fits well in my hands and while it isnt as full of features like a dualsense, or value orientated like an xbox controller, its definitely Nintendos best controller since the Gamecube

> 3 dayThe Nintendo Switch Pro Controller is a game changer (pun intended). I first thought that I loved the Joy Con controllers included with the console more than anything. It wasnt until I got the pro controller as a gift that I found out what I was missing. I fee like I have way more control over my games with the pro controller as opposed to the very small joy con controllers. The battery life on this thing is outstanding. I can play 3-4 game sessions of 4-5 hours each before ever getting a low battery notification, and they charge quickly. If you have not given the pro controller a shot because the price tag being almost as much as a game, I totally get it. I would much rather have a new game over a controller too! Once you have a few games that you play consistently this comes worth getting for sure.

> 3 dayThis controller just may replace the second-gen Sega Saturn joypad as my favorite first party controller ever. Its comfortable as can be to hold, but I have just one concern. The analog sticks rub on the face of the controller and wear the plastic down, its white powder around either analog stick. I just hope Nintendo is going to be supporting to their loyal players in a year or so when these things start wearing out. Back in the N64 days, the Nintendo customer service number on the sticker on every Nintendo product took care of their gamers and they sent me three new N64 Analog sticks for the controllers that got worn out for free. Just the analog sticks, and I had to take apart the controllers to put them in. Ive only had this particular controller for about a month and Ive already had to clean off the plastic wear dust from the analog pads twice. Its a very comfortable controller, but I really think its overpriced (same as their Joy-Cons) and I question just how durable it is after seeing this much wear and tear after some casual use during less than a months time. Im gonna really be upset if this expensive official controller wears out early, and I sure hope Nintendos customer service is as good as it was 20 years ago when this control stick gives up the ghost like you can tell its going to do. Its comfy, its USB-C, good battery life, but the powdery wear around the thumbsticks really concern me. They rub against the controller housing and I just cant see how this controller was designed like this with the wear parts. Going to try and be optimistic, but these kind of problems typically get bad enough to warrant getting upset about right after theyre out of the warranty period... I sure hope Nintendo isnt skimping on quality or product support these days.

Greater than one weekI used to be like pretty much everyone else with controllers: Xbox 360/one/s were the gold standards. However, this is my favorite now. It feels much more solid despite how it looks. Everything is in the same general format but for some reason its easier for me to use. You can even use it with Steam if your PC has bluetooth! There are only a few issues: Sometimes this does not turn off on its own even after disconnecting this from PC The triggers are binary; youll still want to stick with the Xbox controllers for games that require a certain amount of activation (e.g. racing games). The A/B and X/Y buttons are swapped (probably for patent reasons or something) so you will have to configure how the controller works on Steam. If you switch back and forth between the Switch and an Xbox controller, it gets VERY confusing. All in all, this is the controller I like to use for Smash, BOTW, and PC gaming.

> 3 dayI think that the xbox 360 controller set new standards in terms of quality. This controller is definitely a contender swinging right up there with the big boys. Both analog sticks and the d-pad feel and function just as you would expect them to. Really nice.
