> 3 dayI used this product to put my bedside lamp and some dim interior lighting on schedules because I have no self-control or concept of time and I’m attempting to establish better routines for myself because #helth. Also, the plugs for the string lights were difficult to access to plug and unplug when I wanted them on or off. Overall, good value for price. However, I found setup to be difficult and could only connect one of the three that I used onto my wi-fi. The other two had to be connected via an alternate method, which may explain why they seem to be anywhere between 15min to an hour off on their schedule. Kinda defeats the purpose for which they were purchased, but I just go and manually turn on/off on app. Might mess around a bit more and see if I can remedy this. As far as Alexa pairing goes, I can’t speak for this since I do not own any Alexa devices. The remote control from the app is a bit clunky to access. I wish there were a more centralized location to control all devices as soon as you opened the app instead of having to navigate to the right tab. But, I’m sure this will be improved in future iterations of the app, and the schedule issue might be resolved with some more troubleshooting on my end. Overall a good value for price.

> 3 dayThere are several places in my house where I just need to turn something on/off by an app or have it on a timer - I use smart plugs for these applications. I recently bought 4 Nooie smart plugs & they are working perfectly. Theyre smaller than most of the plugs Ive seen - most importantly, 2 of these plugs fit nicely on one wall receptacle. Because they dont extend beyond the edge of a switch plate, they are hardly noticeable in use. The LED on the front to indicate it is On is visible, but not too bright. Youre instructed to download the Nooie app & I did. The plugs were easily setup in their app, but the other smart plugs & bulbs in my house all work within the SmartLife app. I decided to see if these Nooie plugs were flexible enough to be recognized by the SmartLife app & to my delight they were immeidatly added to my network & their functionality was fully available. Nice. Although I no longer have small children in my house, the Child-Lock feature would be welcome if there were. This feature disables the power button on the side of plug. It can still be controlled by the app, but a small child cant turn on the device plugged in by accidentally pressing the On button. With smart devices the bar is set low at Just Work. That is often a bar that many smart devices cant hurdle. The Nooie works great & it has a stable connection to my wifi network - thats another low bar that many smart devices cant get over. It also has several good features that make working with it simple & helpful. Stays connected. Just works. Has nice features. Thats high praise in my opinion. Excellent smart plugs by Nooie.

> 3 dayThese are terrific little smart plugs, and work flawlessly. Theyre very easy to set up, and they integrate with Echo devices without any problem. They appear to be solidly made, look quite sleek and modern, and - most important of all - cost a fraction of the price of some other, very similar plugs. Youll need to download the Nooie app before you can set these up. Also, if you want to use them with your Echo devices, youll need to install the Nooie Alexa Skill. After installing the app, setup of the smart plugs is a breeze. Youll enter your home network name and password, but youll do this only once - future Nooie smart home additions will automatically link to the network. The plug will pair itself to the network, and then youre done! I bought these mainly to use with Alexa, and for that purpose theyre excellent. However, the Nooie app offers you some extra, very useful features. You can set a different schedule for each plug on the network, with multiple on and off times for each day. You can also set your plugs to turn on and off randomly, which might be useful if you were away from home but wanted your house to look as if you were not. By grouping plugs in the Alexa app you can simplify their use enormously. For example, Ive grouped lamps in my TV room and hallway, and made another group of accent lights in my kitchen. If you are using these plugs to control lights/lamps, you can tell Alexa to treat them as lights instead of outlets; that way, you can turn them all on or off with one command (e.g., Alexa, let there be light). Ive also set Alexa to turn off all the lights in both groups when I say Alexa, goodnight. So using the schedule feature in addition to Alexa, you can create a very flexible and intuitive system. Ive set the TV room lights to come on at dusk, and go off around 1.00am, but of course I can override that setting by simply telling Alexa to turn them on or off. And if youre using LED lights (which by now you really should be!) or even CFLs, theres no need to worry that switching on all the lights at the same time might overload the household circuit: it wont. One note of caution: if youre using a tablet to set these up with the Nooie app, bear in mind that the app clearly was designed for use on a smart phone. Consequently, if you hold the tablet in the landscape orientation some important stuff will be off-screen at the bottom - specifically, stuff you need to tap in order to proceed. So if youre new to smart home stuff, and want to get your toes wet (as it were) go ahead and buy these; I think youll be pleasantly surprised.

> 3 dayI use my nooie in my shed with a space heater hooked up to it. I preheat my workspace before going outside on cold days. Its such a treat! I paired it with a wifi thermometer so I can track the temperature in the shed and turn the heater off remotely as well. This is such a convenience. I needed a switch with further range than Bluetooth. The wifi capability of this switch has helped me quite a bit. Very easy to use, uncomplicated ap. Will probably buy again.

03-04-2025I read many product reviews about many different smart plugs on the market. I decided to go with the Nooie brand just because the reviews were all mostly positive and I liked the loo if them as well. I heard a lot of complaints about the “third party app” and connecting it to to Alexa, but I don’t know what these people are talking about. This was an extremely easy and user friendly item to set up. The very small and brief user manual walks you through how to set up the app. The Nooie app is user friendly and easy to follow along for setting up the device and setting up names and schedules. It connects seamlessly to Alex through the Alexa app. There you can group various plugs together to make multiple devices come on at one time. For example, I have 5 plugs connected to turn on all my inside Christmas lights at one time through Alexa, either by voice or opening the Alexa app and hitting the button. It’s great! I highly recommend these plugs! I will continue to add updates as I change the plugs names after the holidays. Highly recommend.

> 3 dayThe plugs operate as expected and provided convenient control over power to connected devices. Power consumption in app would be useful functionality. Thank you!

> 3 dayWorked well for our Christmas lights but can be used for really anything you want in a timer. Easy to set up.
