Greater than one weekAfter shutting down the 5 Ghz router side, these FINALLY connected at 2.4 Ghz but had to do manually (i.e., not automatic connecting). After connecting the first Nooie plug in about one hour, the others connected fine and in much less install time (about 3 minutes each). Small size is great, leaving the other plug for other use. Have to be careful when unplugging not to hold down the re-set button on the plugs side. Used the Nooie app, which is a bit clunky but OK when getting use to it. Lots of difficulty when meshing with Alexa (Dot Gen 3), but once it connects Nooie ---> Alexa it is awesome! BE SURE TO CONNECT USING NOOIE HOME, not just Nooie. We control 8 plugs in two groups, all controlling lights. I would definitely buy these again.

Is It Worth it?
> 3 dayUsed and gifted so many of these smart plugs outlets that I noticed similar issue. One of the biggest issue i have with similar plugs outlet like these is how it is designed like the shape because it might be too big and block the other outlets nearby. And this means that you would have one less outlet to used unless if your outlets are a bit spread out then you are fine. In terms of the setup and performance of the product, it was easy to setup both the app and Alexa. Performance of the charge time is quite fast, meets my expectation. Really love the fact of how you can literally control the plugs anywhere as long as it is connected to wifi and as long as you have internet connection. You can also set a schedule or timer. Would i recommend? Yes if you dont have multiple outlet side by side or you would be losing a few outlet because of the size of the product.

> 3 dayThese work as expected, were fairly easy to install using manual/AP mode, and I have had no issues with how they work so far. They do make a click sound when turning on and off, but I dont personally mind. The reason why Im giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because 2 of the 6 I ordered were clearly used. They werent wrapped in the plastic wrap like the others and had black scuffs on them. The scuffs wiped off with a little bit of alcohol and they seem to work the same as the rest, so I used them anyway.

> 3 dayThree of four devices connected right out of the box via the Nooie app. For the fourth, I needed to connect to the device as a hot spot which worked quickly and then performed the handoff to my local network flawlessly. The device is solidly built and doesnt take up too much room. The local button on the hardware is a nice feature too. The integration to Google Home was super easy. Whats confusing is that Nooie and Nooie Home are both listed as Works With Google. The outlets are Nooie Home (the lights are Nooie). Couldnt find Nooie Home on Amazon Alexa though. As a result, cant use these with my Alexa-enabled office speaker as I wanted, but the routines will run automatically out of Google. So, a convenient workaround. All in all, does what I need it to do, out of the box. Ill buy again.

> 3 dayJust added these little boys to my home automation. They just worked as they should. Since they are smaller than other models you can fit 2 in a single wall socket, saving some space. I have a couple more of this plugs and a power strip. They all use the smart life /tuya app so setup is the same, Nooie has their own app, but I dont want to use an additional app, if you use only Nooie devices their app might provide better integration. Enable Bluetooth to make connection easier and be sure to connect to 2.4ghz Wi-Fi, this is very important as none of this plugs work with 5ghz. Open the smart life app click add and let it scan, after a while it will add it to your network. After that you can rename it, add it to a room in your home, put it on a schedule so it can switch automatically or integrate it with Alexa or Google Home. I dont use Alexa, but it integrates fine with Google Home, you can switch it with your voice or add it to a routine and feel like you have your own Jarvis at home. To sum it up, it works as it should, setup takes less than a minute and adds convenience to your home.

> 3 dayVerry useful. I was in the market for a light timer and came across nooie. All I had to do was download the app and im able to control the lights through my phone. I no longer have to worry about turning on and off my garden lights. The timer function does it for me.

> 3 dayI have other smart plugs that are wider but still the slim style and they were setup using the Smartlife app. These Nooie plugs also work with that app but I couldn’t Add Manually by selecting the Socket (WiFi) device. The way to add them is by selecting Auto-Scan and not Add Manually. Make sure the WiFI network name and password are entered in the app. Push and hold the power button on the Nooie plug for 5 seconds and release and the LED will be flashing. The app should find the plug in a minute or two and then notify you that there is an upgrade available. Perform the upgrade and you’ll be done with the setup. My other plugs show electric usage stats which these do not, but these do have a random program cycle instead which is useful for security. Recommended for lighting and places that you don’t want a smart plug to be noticeable and don’t need 10A or 1200W of power.

> 3 dayOnly reason for 4/5 stars was it took me a second try to connect it to my wifi. Works great now though.
