I bought a smart plug this year for my pool (which I’m now using for Christmas lights), and decided to get these plugs for my Christmas tree lights. Easy to install! I’m using the Smart Life app. Holding the on button for 5 seconds (with WiFi on), the device was found in a minute. It had one update, and then it was ready to use. I moved it to the Christmas tree, and plugged it in. The plug is called PA10, and I added TREE to the name - I got a 4 pack and plan to use more. Then I set up timers to have the tree on in the morning, off during the day, and on until bedtime. Adding timers is easy- on timer is created for turning it on, and another for turning it off, however many days you like. Smart plugs are awesome!!

I purchased a 4-pack of the Nooie Smart Plugs. Like others, I had no trouble configuring the plug and connecting it to my Amazon Echo. I subtracted one star because I hoped that the plug/app would support turning lights on/off at sunrise/sunset. I am looking for lighting controls to replace my lights presently controlled by an Insteon hub which turn on at Sunset and off at 11pm.

I love the size that doesn’t block an entire outlet and I love having Alexa turn on all (or some) of my lights! I already bought my second set! I can even schedule them to come on automatically at dark.

I felt compelled to write this to refute some of the earlier events. I encountered none of the bugs or inconveniences I read about. - I took quite a bit longer than 90 seconds to pair at least the first two I set up. No problem at all. The light wasnt blinking, but pairing worked fine. - I dont recall the exact sequence, but it is perfectly natural and easy to set the name of each outlet in Google Home. - I got them because we have too many Christmas lights, and these 4 outlet controls cost about the same as one traditional timer. So I replaced all the old ones and set them up in a Google Home room called Christmas. Now I can say OK Google, turn on the outlets in Christmas - You make them timers by creating a Routine that runs at a set time, with an action like turn on the outlets in Christmas. Then you can add a voice trigger to that routine, like Christmas on. Then you can manually operate the controls with OK Google, Christmas on - Youll want to set Google Home to run all the Routines on a fixed device, like a Nest Mini or a Nest Hub not on your phone. - As far as I can tell, the instructions to use the Nooie app on Android are correct. The rub comes when you set up a new outlet, and you have to follow the instruction to select the device type Nooie Home rather than Nooie. I dont understand how this all works, so I cant say whether this is weird or normal -- you only need to do it once per outlet. Ill definitely be getting more of these rather than any traditional timer!

I absolutely love these plugs. We use them for some of the lights in our house and integrate them with Alexa. Just ask her and she turns them on. Have used them for our crockpot and I can just turn it off from work when the time is up for cooking. When we travel we set up a warming light for our turtle and put it on a schedule that they let you set up through the app. Definitely a must buy!!!!

I was looking for a set of smart plugs to run my christmas lights in the house versus the timer based ones Ive used in the past. I found a set of competing ones, got them and they didnt work. Additionally a single unit covered both outlets. I considered this a fail. I found the Nooie plugs at a good deal for a set of four. They only use and cover a single outlet. They connected to my wifi with no issue. They have an on/off button so I can control them remotely or locally. They fit the bill perfectly. I attached one to each string of lights spread around the house. I then added the Nooie app to my phone and the feature to Alexa. I can now control each plug individually or as a group. My wife was a little hesitant to like it until I told Alexa to Turn on the christmas lights. The entire inside of the house lit up and she was sold. She was so much so that she asked me to order a second set to add more lights to the house. I have since renamed the command to Turn on string lights do that we can keep some of the strings up year round. Ive been using them for 2 months now and they work great. Im very happy with them and I am looking forward to trying some of their other products.

    Greater than one week

This was a bear to set up with the Wifi and I almost gave up and sent them back. But, I did finally get it set up and it works perfectly with my Alexa app. I guess patience is a virtue that you must possess if you purchase these plugs.

These smart plugs are awesome! Theyre very reliable and I havent had any problems with them. They have their own app and easily integrate with google or amazon. It has various timing options to fit any situation and on top of all that, the price was great! I would highly recommend these.

Verry useful. I was in the market for a light timer and came across nooie. All I had to do was download the app and im able to control the lights through my phone. I no longer have to worry about turning on and off my garden lights. The timer function does it for me.
