> 3 dayThese are terrific little smart plugs, and work flawlessly. Theyre very easy to set up, and they integrate with Echo devices without any problem. They appear to be solidly made, look quite sleek and modern, and - most important of all - cost a fraction of the price of some other, very similar plugs. Youll need to download the Nooie app before you can set these up. Also, if you want to use them with your Echo devices, youll need to install the Nooie Alexa Skill. After installing the app, setup of the smart plugs is a breeze. Youll enter your home network name and password, but youll do this only once - future Nooie smart home additions will automatically link to the network. The plug will pair itself to the network, and then youre done! I bought these mainly to use with Alexa, and for that purpose theyre excellent. However, the Nooie app offers you some extra, very useful features. You can set a different schedule for each plug on the network, with multiple on and off times for each day. You can also set your plugs to turn on and off randomly, which might be useful if you were away from home but wanted your house to look as if you were not. By grouping plugs in the Alexa app you can simplify their use enormously. For example, Ive grouped lamps in my TV room and hallway, and made another group of accent lights in my kitchen. If you are using these plugs to control lights/lamps, you can tell Alexa to treat them as lights instead of outlets; that way, you can turn them all on or off with one command (e.g., Alexa, let there be light). Ive also set Alexa to turn off all the lights in both groups when I say Alexa, goodnight. So using the schedule feature in addition to Alexa, you can create a very flexible and intuitive system. Ive set the TV room lights to come on at dusk, and go off around 1.00am, but of course I can override that setting by simply telling Alexa to turn them on or off. And if youre using LED lights (which by now you really should be!) or even CFLs, theres no need to worry that switching on all the lights at the same time might overload the household circuit: it wont. One note of caution: if youre using a tablet to set these up with the Nooie app, bear in mind that the app clearly was designed for use on a smart phone. Consequently, if you hold the tablet in the landscape orientation some important stuff will be off-screen at the bottom - specifically, stuff you need to tap in order to proceed. So if youre new to smart home stuff, and want to get your toes wet (as it were) go ahead and buy these; I think youll be pleasantly surprised.

> 3 dayNot the most user friendly when setting up. Definitely better than some that just don’t work at all but a little harder then instant ones ($$$). You need a 2.4 internet source (most routers have 2.4 and 5.0 just depends if it’s set up). Works just takes some time to set up

> 3 dayI use my nooie in my shed with a space heater hooked up to it. I preheat my workspace before going outside on cold days. Its such a treat! I paired it with a wifi thermometer so I can track the temperature in the shed and turn the heater off remotely as well. This is such a convenience. I needed a switch with further range than Bluetooth. The wifi capability of this switch has helped me quite a bit. Very easy to use, uncomplicated ap. Will probably buy again.

Greater than one weekAfter shutting down the 5 Ghz router side, these FINALLY connected at 2.4 Ghz but had to do manually (i.e., not automatic connecting). After connecting the first Nooie plug in about one hour, the others connected fine and in much less install time (about 3 minutes each). Small size is great, leaving the other plug for other use. Have to be careful when unplugging not to hold down the re-set button on the plugs side. Used the Nooie app, which is a bit clunky but OK when getting use to it. Lots of difficulty when meshing with Alexa (Dot Gen 3), but once it connects Nooie ---> Alexa it is awesome! BE SURE TO CONNECT USING NOOIE HOME, not just Nooie. We control 8 plugs in two groups, all controlling lights. I would definitely buy these again.

> 3 dayI purchased this item because I needed to be able to turn on a lamp without being in the house so I found these. The price wasnt over-priced and the quality of the product was good. After connecting the lamp the process of converting the lamp to Wi-Fi was easy. I downloaded the app and could seemlessly turn the light off and on. It even connected to my Alexa app with only a few clicks and I am able to control it from not just the app but my Alexa as well.

> 3 dayI absolutely love these plugs. We use them for some of the lights in our house and integrate them with Alexa. Just ask her and she turns them on. Have used them for our crockpot and I can just turn it off from work when the time is up for cooking. When we travel we set up a warming light for our turtle and put it on a schedule that they let you set up through the app. Definitely a must buy!!!!

> 3 dayThese plugs are a great addition to creating a smart home The only negative noticed is the WIFI operating frequency, which is clearly indicated on their post as 2.4G. Most home system routers are 5G. But if your router is like mine from Xfinity, you can set up a secondary network for only 2.4G and add these plugs to your home network. A minor hassle for some excellent plugs. Their app is also pretty smooth, but I run everything from Google home. No issues thus far.

> 3 dayAs the headline states, this outlet will only work on a non-5G wifi connection....which Im not sure many people have anymore, especially those of us who use smart home devices. That being said, if youre not on 5G but you still want to use smart home stuff, this is a great product for you! :) Alexa recognized it and there were no issues in using its app

> 3 dayI used these to water my plants while on vacation for 2 months. Worked great with small aquarium pump that is always on, so this plug with the timer schedule function worked. Only wish I could limit the timer to 1 minute, the minimum is 2 minutes. Even a small pump puts out a lot over 2 minutes, so I had to include a tube that dumped back into the reservoir, worked!
