After shutting down the 5 Ghz router side, these FINALLY connected at 2.4 Ghz but had to do manually (i.e., not automatic connecting). After connecting the first Nooie plug in about one hour, the others connected fine and in much less install time (about 3 minutes each). Small size is great, leaving the other plug for other use. Have to be careful when unplugging not to hold down the re-set button on the plugs side. Used the Nooie app, which is a bit clunky but OK when getting use to it. Lots of difficulty when meshing with Alexa (Dot Gen 3), but once it connects Nooie ---> Alexa it is awesome! BE SURE TO CONNECT USING NOOIE HOME, not just Nooie. We control 8 plugs in two groups, all controlling lights. I would definitely buy these again.

Loved this product , I was looking something to setup my outdoor lights for Diwali decoration with automatic timer and this product is so easy to setup, I would buy it again , only thing is to make sure your wifi is 2.4 ghz and it’s named separately then 5G

Just added these little boys to my home automation. They just worked as they should. Since they are smaller than other models you can fit 2 in a single wall socket, saving some space. I have a couple more of this plugs and a power strip. They all use the smart life /tuya app so setup is the same, Nooie has their own app, but I dont want to use an additional app, if you use only Nooie devices their app might provide better integration. Enable Bluetooth to make connection easier and be sure to connect to 2.4ghz Wi-Fi, this is very important as none of this plugs work with 5ghz. Open the smart life app click add and let it scan, after a while it will add it to your network. After that you can rename it, add it to a room in your home, put it on a schedule so it can switch automatically or integrate it with Alexa or Google Home. I dont use Alexa, but it integrates fine with Google Home, you can switch it with your voice or add it to a routine and feel like you have your own Jarvis at home. To sum it up, it works as it should, setup takes less than a minute and adds convenience to your home.

Small size, easy to setup, work with Smart Life app. update: It misses schedule and doesnt turn on automatically sometimes. I use one of them to reboot cable modem everyday. When it doesnt turn on automatically, I have to manually turn it on as the network is lost.

Does not work with Alexa. Ive connected the app to my Alexa account multiple times (Delete and reconnect) with no luck. Other than that, worked great with the app, timers are a little hit or miss. Times work about 70% of the time. Still useful, just not as useful as I wanted.

Easy to set up and it is helpful to be able to control things remotely. Especially helpful with lights around the house

Setting up these wifi plugs was pretty straight forward once I temporarily disabled my 5GHz band (my 5GHz and 2.4GHz have the same name, so make sure to do the same if you run into any issues). Once it was set up I re-enabled that band without any issues. The app is simple and clean without any weird gimmicks. After adding the skill through my Alexa app, Alexa discovered the plugs immediately and voice control was up and running. The plugs are as responsive as a TP-Link and a Samsung plug I have. What sets these plugs apart are their size. As you can see in the picture I attached, the grounding prong on the plug above it is not obscured at all which is super helpful if I ever need to plug any devices above it; notice the orange circle and how much extra room there is. Additionally, in the picture, you can see I have a bulking lamp plugged into it. The connection is nice and tight and it doesnt feel like it will be falling out anytime soon unlike some of those sketchy round wifi plugs you might see which tend to be worthless on a wall plug; notice the blue circled area and see how the plug into it is completely flush without any sagging. All in all, I am very content with this plug. Outside of being used for appliances, this plug does it all and easily beats competitors at this price point.

I had to Google how to connect them to my alexa. I ended up having to read the reviews to find a answer. Once I figured it out they work perfectly with all my christmas lights and my alexa. We have 14 plugs connected to one group on our device. Works out very well.

I needed some control over some lighting in a gaming room, and these work perfectly. They set up very quickly, sync to my Google Home account without any issues, and just plain work. Plus, they are some of the few plugs that you can use doubled up in a standard outlet. You can also create your own groups to control multiple plugs at once, which was perfect for what I need. One voice command, and everything I need can turn on at once with no hassle at all. Plus you get additional options like setting the status of the plug in the event of a power outage. This would be perfect for making sure lights come back on after losing power for any length of time, and something that was a pleasant surprise to see as an option. One suggestion Ill make for people who may have a hard time getting them to sync - check your router settings. Some routers set both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz radios on and with all the same settings, but not all devices work correctly. Youll want to have them separated and make sure you set these on the 2.4GHz wifi connection. It might not effect everyone, but its something to check (for lots of devices, not just these!) Certainly will be looking to order more soon!

We bought a set of the Nooie outlet plugs a few years ago and have been using them as room timers in our home. I never really think about them because they were so easy to setup and just work. After we moved, I decided to purchase another set and they integrated exactly as I would have expected. Setup cannot be simpler, the find the network automatically. Create groups for the rooms and setup timers so they randomly turn on inside the schedule is a great feature. Super satisfied with the purchase and would buy more when needed.
