> 3 dayReview of Nooie Smart Plug Works with Alexa Google Home for Voice Control WiFi Mini Smart Outlet with Schedule Timer Child Lock Function and ETL Certified No Hub Required, 4 Packs @ $16.99 I got these to run a dehumidifier in my basement plus other things I might add down the line. I like that they are compact. You can place 2 of these in a dual outlet. They are not easy to set up using the Nooie app. There is a video in the ad that suggests using the Smartlife app to set these up, and I agree with that recommendation. I tried both ways and the Smartlife app helped me connect these to Alexa and Google. These show up in the Google Home app and can be operated within the Google Home app but forget voice commands using Google devices. All it ever says is that Nooie is unavailable or not set up yet. They finally were voice operational in Alexa devices after I set them up using Smartlife. The Nooie app is straightforward in most ways as far as operations of these smart plugs. I dont use the timer functions at this point so I cannot review that. The price is reasonable enough too. I hope this helps someone to decide whether or not to try this product.

Greater than one weekWe bought a set of the Nooie outlet plugs a few years ago and have been using them as room timers in our home. I never really think about them because they were so easy to setup and just work. After we moved, I decided to purchase another set and they integrated exactly as I would have expected. Setup cannot be simpler, the find the network automatically. Create groups for the rooms and setup timers so they randomly turn on inside the schedule is a great feature. Super satisfied with the purchase and would buy more when needed.

Greater than one weekI used this product to put my bedside lamp and some dim interior lighting on schedules because I have no self-control or concept of time and I’m attempting to establish better routines for myself because #helth. Also, the plugs for the string lights were difficult to access to plug and unplug when I wanted them on or off. Overall, good value for price. However, I found setup to be difficult and could only connect one of the three that I used onto my wi-fi. The other two had to be connected via an alternate method, which may explain why they seem to be anywhere between 15min to an hour off on their schedule. Kinda defeats the purpose for which they were purchased, but I just go and manually turn on/off on app. Might mess around a bit more and see if I can remedy this. As far as Alexa pairing goes, I can’t speak for this since I do not own any Alexa devices. The remote control from the app is a bit clunky to access. I wish there were a more centralized location to control all devices as soon as you opened the app instead of having to navigate to the right tab. But, I’m sure this will be improved in future iterations of the app, and the schedule issue might be resolved with some more troubleshooting on my end. Overall a good value for price.

> 3 dayUnfortunately these didn’t work for what I needed them to. I’m a teacher and we don’t have wifi that these will connect to. I wanted to use them in my classroom but couldn’t. I did keep them and will just use them at home instead. I wish their was a Bluetooth only option.

> 3 dayThese work as expected, were fairly easy to install using manual/AP mode, and I have had no issues with how they work so far. They do make a click sound when turning on and off, but I dont personally mind. The reason why Im giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because 2 of the 6 I ordered were clearly used. They werent wrapped in the plastic wrap like the others and had black scuffs on them. The scuffs wiped off with a little bit of alcohol and they seem to work the same as the rest, so I used them anyway.

21-11-2024Small size, easy to setup, work with Smart Life app. update: It misses schedule and doesnt turn on automatically sometimes. I use one of them to reboot cable modem everyday. When it doesnt turn on automatically, I have to manually turn it on as the network is lost.

> 3 dayAfter receiving a google home mini for free from spotify, I was looking up how useful that thing really is. I saw that you can control lights with it which I thought would be its most useful feature. Unfortunately you also need smart light bulbs for that to work. I was searching for lights when I came across smart plugs, which is a much better option. This way they last a lot longer than light bulbs, and you can use them for other devices. I bought the four pack and have them hooked up to christmas lights as well as regular lamps. Setting them up is very easy and being able to turn on or off my lights with just my voice is so convenient. I think I will also use one on my fan as it is tucked away in the corner of my room. The design is perfect too as you can plug two into the same outlet. I havent seen any other smart plugs that can say the same. Overall these are a great addition to my home and were very reasonably priced. 10/10 would recommend to someone looking to add smart features to their home

> 3 dayI purchased this item because I needed to be able to turn on a lamp without being in the house so I found these. The price wasnt over-priced and the quality of the product was good. After connecting the lamp the process of converting the lamp to Wi-Fi was easy. I downloaded the app and could seemlessly turn the light off and on. It even connected to my Alexa app with only a few clicks and I am able to control it from not just the app but my Alexa as well.

> 3 daySo these reviews help me and I want to pay it forward a bit. If you are buying these and don’t plan to integrate with Alexa then you are good to go. Quick response and works as advertised. HOWEVER, if you want to integrate. Avoid their app. It won’t work as if this current release now. Don’t if others did or will, not my situation. These are Smart Life rebranded plugs. This means go ahead and load the Smart Life App. When pairing these, choose the Ble+WiFi Smart Plug and voila! Alexa discovers the new device.

> 3 dayI felt compelled to write this to refute some of the earlier events. I encountered none of the bugs or inconveniences I read about. - I took quite a bit longer than 90 seconds to pair at least the first two I set up. No problem at all. The light wasnt blinking, but pairing worked fine. - I dont recall the exact sequence, but it is perfectly natural and easy to set the name of each outlet in Google Home. - I got them because we have too many Christmas lights, and these 4 outlet controls cost about the same as one traditional timer. So I replaced all the old ones and set them up in a Google Home room called Christmas. Now I can say OK Google, turn on the outlets in Christmas - You make them timers by creating a Routine that runs at a set time, with an action like turn on the outlets in Christmas. Then you can add a voice trigger to that routine, like Christmas on. Then you can manually operate the controls with OK Google, Christmas on - Youll want to set Google Home to run all the Routines on a fixed device, like a Nest Mini or a Nest Hub not on your phone. - As far as I can tell, the instructions to use the Nooie app on Android are correct. The rub comes when you set up a new outlet, and you have to follow the instruction to select the device type Nooie Home rather than Nooie. I dont understand how this all works, so I cant say whether this is weird or normal -- you only need to do it once per outlet. Ill definitely be getting more of these rather than any traditional timer!
