These plugs are a great addition to creating a smart home The only negative noticed is the WIFI operating frequency, which is clearly indicated on their post as 2.4G. Most home system routers are 5G. But if your router is like mine from Xfinity, you can set up a secondary network for only 2.4G and add these plugs to your home network. A minor hassle for some excellent plugs. Their app is also pretty smooth, but I run everything from Google home. No issues thus far.

I purchased this item because I needed to be able to turn on a lamp without being in the house so I found these. The price wasnt over-priced and the quality of the product was good. After connecting the lamp the process of converting the lamp to Wi-Fi was easy. I downloaded the app and could seemlessly turn the light off and on. It even connected to my Alexa app with only a few clicks and I am able to control it from not just the app but my Alexa as well.

I use my nooie in my shed with a space heater hooked up to it. I preheat my workspace before going outside on cold days. Its such a treat! I paired it with a wifi thermometer so I can track the temperature in the shed and turn the heater off remotely as well. This is such a convenience. I needed a switch with further range than Bluetooth. The wifi capability of this switch has helped me quite a bit. Very easy to use, uncomplicated ap. Will probably buy again.

These plugs don’t even have an basic on/off function in the SmartLife app. You have to click through to the device details to even turn them in or off. They’re cheap, in more ways than one.

We bought a set of the Nooie outlet plugs a few years ago and have been using them as room timers in our home. I never really think about them because they were so easy to setup and just work. After we moved, I decided to purchase another set and they integrated exactly as I would have expected. Setup cannot be simpler, the find the network automatically. Create groups for the rooms and setup timers so they randomly turn on inside the schedule is a great feature. Super satisfied with the purchase and would buy more when needed.

Great product, easy to set up. App for iPhone works great and easy to use (it is a simple and straight forward app, which is great for once.) You do need to set up an account with a password through Nooie. I choose this plug over other smart plugs for its slender size. It allows the other outlet plug to be accessible. I am using the smart plug for lights to be turned on for a duration of time. I can also turn on or off light with the anytime I want ... It does amaze me how instant you can turn the lights on/off with the app. The app does allow for a few settings: turning the light on or off at a specific time, scheduling the light to be on over a specific time, and a travel schedule, which randomly turns light on and off over a selected period of time. Standard use would be the scheduling over specific time; have light turn on at 4:15pm and off at midnight. You can also set more than one schedule per plug. One tweak I had to do with my upstairs plug is set it up close to my WiFi (plug into an outlet with a stronger wifi signal and go through the set up process, which takes a few minutes.) then move it upstairs. I guess it wasn’t getting a strong enough signal for set up, but works great now. Enjoy

The best thing about these are their size. They work just as well as my other smart plugs, but are small enough that they don’t impede on the other outlets like most of the other smart plugs do

I worried that since these plugs are not made by Amazon, I would have trouble with them integrating with Alexa. Turns out I had nothing to worry about. I have one Amazon smart plug and this Nooie four pack, and there is no difference in how well they work. I actually used two to run our Christmas trees this year and it was wonderful to be able to set a (silent! No clicking like a regular) timer and be able to turn the trees on at will without having to crawl around under them to flip the timer. I love that I can get multiple timers on the same plug too, so I can program a plug to have a week day and a weekend setting. The app is super easy to use, and yes, you can also control the plugs through your Alexa app on your phone/tablet. I gave each plug a name, and put a colored sticker on each one so I can keep them straight. Power outages are no problem for these plugs. Some brands I researched before purchase you have to set up again if the power goes out- these pick right back up where they left off. Only minor negative I have with these is that when you plug them in or unplug it can be easy to press the off button, so if they “don’t work” try turning them on. Since I really don’t mess with my plugs once I have them set up it’s really not an issue for me.

There are several places in my house where I just need to turn something on/off by an app or have it on a timer - I use smart plugs for these applications. I recently bought 4 Nooie smart plugs & they are working perfectly. Theyre smaller than most of the plugs Ive seen - most importantly, 2 of these plugs fit nicely on one wall receptacle. Because they dont extend beyond the edge of a switch plate, they are hardly noticeable in use. The LED on the front to indicate it is On is visible, but not too bright. Youre instructed to download the Nooie app & I did. The plugs were easily setup in their app, but the other smart plugs & bulbs in my house all work within the SmartLife app. I decided to see if these Nooie plugs were flexible enough to be recognized by the SmartLife app & to my delight they were immeidatly added to my network & their functionality was fully available. Nice. Although I no longer have small children in my house, the Child-Lock feature would be welcome if there were. This feature disables the power button on the side of plug. It can still be controlled by the app, but a small child cant turn on the device plugged in by accidentally pressing the On button. With smart devices the bar is set low at Just Work. That is often a bar that many smart devices cant hurdle. The Nooie works great & it has a stable connection to my wifi network - thats another low bar that many smart devices cant get over. It also has several good features that make working with it simple & helpful. Stays connected. Just works. Has nice features. Thats high praise in my opinion. Excellent smart plugs by Nooie.
