> 24 hourSuch a good looking monitor. It has everything you could want for a very fair price. The only thing it doesn’t have is speakers which I didn’t know until I got it but monitor speakers always suck anyway. It does a headphone port. Edit: I just saw today that there is a dead pixel on the side of the monitor. I do plan to return it and order another one though. Edit 2: I got another monitor because of the dead pixel on the last one and now this monitor has some major light bleedthrough around the edges. It bothers me quite a bit. Im undecided on whether its enough to send it back and get a different brand.

> 24 hourThe PX278 does not have built-in speakers. If you want to use the monitor as an audio source, you will need to plug in headphones or external speakers to the monitors 3.5mm headphone jack on the back.

> 24 hourI really do love this monitor. It has no picture errors and performs as advertised. It has plenty of in/outputs and many options. My ONLY complaint is when I switch inputs from my PC to PS4. If theyre both on when this happens its no problem. However, if I turn off the PC before I remember to switch the inputs and the monitor turns off with the computer, it is insanely difficult trying to turn it back on to switch to the PS4 input before it turns itself off. It is difficult to determine when the monitor is back on, and it turns off before allowing you to switch inputs. Incredibly frustrating. Without that problem I could have easily rated this as a 5 star monitor.

> 24 hourFor the price, this monitor is truly impressive. I returned a 25 1080p 240hz IPS Monitor ($400) after I tested this Pixio beside it. First, the Pixios pixel density (PPI) is good around 32-34 away from the screen and I was unable to spot the screen door effect. I also found the colors to be vibrant after some minor calibration and a slight saturation boost via my AMD Software. For gaming, the Freesync and motion blur performance was great. No problems. Also, black light bleed was very minimal and I did not notice it while surfing the net or playing games. Lastly, the monitor stand and speakers are trash but I expected that. I had no issues mounting the Pixio on a universal monitor stand. Link Below :) Overall, I am happy with my purchase and plan on keeping it. > 24 hourThe Pixio PX277 Prime is a very good gaming monitor for the price. Good resolution, a ton of real-estate, fast refresh rate (1440p at 144 or 165 Hz over DP1.2), IPS produces superior images and more vibrant colors. The monitor is plenty bright, in fact I had to turn it down to 50 and I might turn it down even more yet. I dont use HDR or FreeSync, so I cannot comment on those features. I do have some IPS glow and slight blooming, but not terrible for a monitor with such thin bezels. Build quality is excellent for this price range. I did have to go into Windows 10 display settings and set it for a higher refresh rate. Windows defaulted to 60 Hz, even though it detected the monitor correctly and I would have expected it to automatically use the highest refresh rate supported by the monitor, but no. Overall, this is a great gaming monitor for those on a budget.

> 24 hourIt’s near perfect but it came with a tiny scratch out the box, I’m going to see about exchanging it and hopefully then I’ll change to a 5 star

> 24 hour-OLD- (Pixio PX277 Prime) This monitor looked promising. Plugged it in and it worked for about 5minutes. After that I was hit with No Signal and then Power Saving. The display port on the monitor is faulty. Wiggling the DP cable from the box hasnt worked. Positioning the cable to be taut a certain way hasnt worked either. If youre looking for a 165hz monitor that is STABLE, dont go for this. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -EDITED Dec13,2022- Headline: DISPLAYPORT CABLES Contacted support for the monitor(Pixio PX277 Prime) over the past week. I thought the port in the monitor was faulty. Turns out the monitor came with a DP1.2 which wasnt strong enough to hold a connection. I bought a DP1.4 after consulting them and the issue was solved. When I told them the solution, they offered a partial refund for the cable. Make sure you have the correct cables for your gear. Thanks to PixioSupport for being very thorough.

> 24 hourIm not the pickiest, but I find the display itself to be very good. Build quality is fine, I have no dead pixels, the bezel is pleasantly tiny, and the refresh rate meets my expectations. There are some frustrating quirks though, things that I cant quite get past. First, when the KVM is enabled, there is a really noticeable coil whine. I contacted their support about it, and they were the ones who identified the KVM as the issue, and as soon as it was disabled, the coil whine went away. Its an unfortunate choice: coil whine or KVM? The second thing that I dont like about this monitor is its aggressive sleep modes and slow wake times. I cant always see the BIOS setup key prompts, because it doesnt wake fast enough after immediately going to sleep for a reboot. I chose to connect the computer to a different monitor for BIOS changes. The only reason Im not more upset is that this monitor was half the price of the other monitors I was looking at with comparable features. Its a good value, despite my frustrations.

> 24 hourI managed to pick this up while it was on sale. Its a very nice monitor. The color blew me away. I had gotten used to a 144Hz VA which had really dull colors. This monitor looks amazing and Freesync works like its supposed to without issues. I dont really mess with HDR so I cant tell you how well that works. The stand does have a stout aluminum base which is nice to see. I do wish the stand offered height adjustment but its a trade-off for the price. For me it was no big deal as I wanted to get a desk mount stand anyway for both of my monitors. Over all Ive enjoyed this montor and will likely be buying Pixio again in the future.

> 24 hourReceived this monitor in Jan of 2021. Worked great out of box. Used Displayport at 165hz for about 8mos. Randomly one day monitor kicked over to 60hz. 165, 144, 120hz options are all now gone from my options list. I purchased another almost $60 DP cable to no avail. I found some relief in switching back to hdmi and 144hz. The next issue. I recently upgraded to a 30 series gpu. Make sure every single driver and bios in my computer was updated. Still not functionality of the higher hz options for displayport so i stay with hdmi. The user manual for this specifically shows an update firmware option in the instructions but my firmware version shows 1.0. The update firmware option is simply not present on my monitor. I have now contacted Pixio to see if they can help me out or if I just need to chuck this thing in the trash. Good luck guys and do good research before you buy! Pixio needs better product and firmware support!
