This was my first real foray into the world of 3d Printing and after 2 months or using my QIDI X-Plus, its been one of my best purchases ever, hands down. Right out of the box, the X-Plus can print just about anything you feed into it, thanks to the extra high-temp extruder with the hardened nozzle thats included with the normal extruder and nozzle combo. So, in addition to the usual PLA, PET-G, ABS, and the like, you can also print Carbon Fiber, Polycarbonate, HIPS, and more. Its a matter of unplugging the ENTIRE extruder assembly, taking it off the rails, and plugging the new one in. Its just that easy. Basically, its plug-and-play. Or plug-and-print, to be more accurate. The print quality is outstanding. The printer itself is sturdy and can be set up to be fully enclosed, for those filaments that have odors or perform better with higher ambient temperatures. You can set up your filament on the holder externally or internally. The door is huge, but can be removed if you need to, just as the side panels are easily detached. Leveling is as easy as pushing a button, checking the nozzle height with the included card, and youre done. And if you are confused about something or have any problems at all, QIDIs customer service is insane. The turn around is quick and theyre incredibly helpful and friendly. In my opinion, you simply cant go wrong with this printer or with this company. Im already saving up for another QIDI printer (the X-Pro) to put beside this one. I know I wont be disappointed.

This printer is of good quality and provides value for the money. As someone who is new to 3d printing I had my first part printed after about two hours. Stellar support.

Great Printer! Easy setup and easy to get started for beginners. But its much more for than that with great tech support, if needed. Great sturdy frame & enclosure for various filaments. Im saving for another.

We purchased this unit to create prototypes for our small company. Initially it worked flawlessly on pretty much every type of filament, but the TPU needed a lot of tweaking. We liked it so much that we bought a second unit for our stuff, and then two more as gifts for a couple of people who helped us get started. Everyone loves their Qidi. The slicer is pretty good as well. A few months into it, the last of the Qidis we purchased started blowing up the prints halfway into the run. It was very frustrating and I was forced to turn to Qidi tech support. It should be noted that a huge part of my original purchase decision was based on the reviews of their support. I am new to 3D printing and was pretty sure I would need it. I am blown away by their level of support. It seems like they are on it 24/7! My original email was at a very odd hour, and I had a reply very quickly. We went back and forth for awhile trying to iron out the details of the failure, and every time I emailed, they emailed back. Long story short, they sent me not only the new extruder I needed, but an updated version of the high temp extruder as well. They were patient and willing to do what it took to get my problem solved. That is all I could ask for. This review isnt particularly helpful printer-wise I guess, in part because I am pretty new to 3D, but I am very happy with the printer, the cost of the printer, the size of the print volume and wildly happy with the support they provide. Things are gonna break, particularly high tech things. Its good to have an incredible team of help to back you up. Thank you Qidi!

I’ve had this printer for 60 days and have had it running 24 hours a day since the first day I received it. I’ve had prints from 12 hr to 38 hrs. I am thoroughly impressed so far with the reliability and print quality of the X-plus, in two months I’ve only auto-leveled a handful of times with no other issues. Print quality is great and now that I have a Pro and Plus and a Max I am really enjoying the Qidi print software and how easy it is to spin up a g-code for different printer within the Qidi family of printers. As a professional engineer by trade I am very impressed with the quality of this printer and beyond satisfied thus far with its performance.

I received this shortly after Black Friday and it’s barely had any down time. The prints are fast and crisp and even a novice can get this up and running quickly. It’s amazing how many random things can be solved with existing designs. Lately I’ve been printing out models for my granddaughters friends, they love the little articulated dragons and octopuses

Printer came fully assembled, with many spares, and ample instructions. Started printing right out of the box. For the price, can do more than the prusa for less. Prints at a wide range of temps and accepts virtually all types of filaments. Also prints quite well-minimal issues with the prints that werent my fault. Just a note: printing chamber ends up becoming semi-heated when bed temperature goes over 60 for an hour. Useful since some materials would warp if the chamber wasnt at least warm. Great customer service. Had a faulty temperature sensor after a few months on my first motherboard and they qiuckly sent me a replacement that has been going strong. The software is alright-intuitive enough, and itll be fine with most things you throw at it. Being able to use a USB drive to print is awesome. Only gripes would be the lack of a proper chamber heating system and no filament runout sensor. Great printer for larger prints and if youre looking to print exotic materials. Pretty easy to use and easy to maintain, overall, with decent quality and great versatility.

I was fortunate to receive this printer as a perk from work and it is amazing! In the few months that I have had it I have made incredible prints with little to no customizing or altering. I did encounter one issue with leveling but the support team got back to me within an hour (on a weekend no less) and it worked like a charm. Plus, the included filament was high quality and a full kg.

Ive purchased the Qidi X-Plus beginning of this year and did struggle with their high heat hotend. Tech support has been great and will send replacement parts right away. Qidi has now upgraded there hot end to be completely all metal tube. This new hotend is night and day on the prints with ASA. Unlike other FDM printers, this Qidi X-Plus needs little to zero tweaking and maintenance due to its ridgid linear bearings and table. This printer has been running 24-7 since January and still prints great quality prints.
