The X-plus is the best printer I had so far (tried 3 other brands before). It is ready to go out of the box. I had question that was immediately answered by customer support. Highly recommended product and factory.

Like all 3D-printers you have to get familiar with their operation and parts, the company which manufacture the machine have to be able to assist you when you stumble, or you will be looking at the machine with total frustration. My QIDI Plus is no exception, the extruder was making noise and was not pushing a uniform streak of extrusion. Calling or writing customer service is not my thing, for the very reason that writing back and forth could take days to fix the problem and some companies may try to evade their responsibilities. This was not the case with QIDI customer service, Linda by name; her response was immediate, she addressed the issue step by step with the supporting videos so that I could follow the steps she wrote with a reassuring note that theyre standing behind their products, this is the exact message she wrote at the end of the instructions: Dont worry, any broken parts, well send you replacements. Waiting for your update. I must also admit while she was prompt, it was I who took few days to respond, however she kept reminding me to respond, here is another exact message: Hello Daniel Whats the situation now? Has the issue been solved? If any problem, please feel free to contact us. With all tools need are included with the machine, I rate them 5 stars all the way, you simply cannot ask for anything more!

I wanted to provide an Update for this AWESOME Printer. I use them in a professional production setting. The first two that I purchased performed so well that I bought 3 more QIDI X-Plus Printers. I purchased these printers prior to QIDI switching over their account (which is why I believe it is showing a non-verified purchase) but I can assure you I have 5 of them in service. Not only is this printer a MUST HAVE for large items, with a .2 tip in it small things print exceptional on it. While a printer this size may seem like a waste for smaller items, the buildplate size allows me to print numerous small items at one time allowing me to set the printer to run for an extended period of time with very little effort. Something worth mentioning is that on a print bed this size, preheating and leveling are very important. The larger your print bed the more the level is affected the further you get from the center of the buildplate. Once you get it leveled perfect it only needs to be checked periodically and it is definately worth taking the time to do correctly. Be sure to use your glue stick every time (even on a brand new buildplate) and it will make your life so much easier. Another thing I really like, being in a production environment, is the ability to change the complete printhead in under 5 minutes. You remove 2 bolts and the plug and you can drop in your high-temp printer head ... or in my case, a print head with a different size tip installed. You are probably asking yourself if you need a print bed this large ... I can assure you that you will find plenty of things to print on it. I’ve been in the process of swapping out my Dremel and Flash Forge printers with QIDI brand printers. I currently run 10 -- x one 2 printers, 6 -- Tech one printers, 6 -- tech pros and now two X Plus printers (plus the 3 from my last purchase). I also currently run 4 2 Dremel 3d20 printers 1 3d40 , a flash forge creator pro and a Robo 2. I know a little about 3D printers. (Since leaving this original review, I have phased out all of my Dremels and sold both Robos). The X Plus printers are my go to printers. My wife sat down with no set up experience and had it printing in less then 15 minutes all on her own with just the manual. I could go on and on about this awesome printer but everyone says that stuff. Customer support is what I’d like to share. I recently had an Extruder board go bad on an X Plus and after contacting customer support a new board is on the way. This is the only time I have ever had to contact customer support and was very happy with the service. They were attentive to my needs, pleasant to deal with( some times customer service acts like they are doing u a favor) and I could not be happier with This printer and the support team. Update. My replacement parts arrived 5 days after contacting customer support and 2 two of those days were the weekend. They were sent DHL Express, what more could u ask for. Thank you Linda and Qidi

I purchased the X-Plus as my first 3D printer and it has been outstanding. The print quality is great as long as you pay careful attention to the recommended extrusion temperatures. I clogged a few nozzles early on after setting the extrusion temp on PLC to 190 degF vs the recommended 220 degF. Once I set it at 220 degF, it hasnt missed a beat and the quality has been excellent. The tech support, like all the other reviews, has been tremendous! They always respond very timely (in my case all in under 24 hours) and their assistance has been invaluable. Id highly recommend this printer to anyone from a beginner to an expert.

I was looking for an enclosed printer that had the capability of printing higher temp filaments as I had zero interest or room to built an enclosure for my Sovol SV01. I had been looking at the Qidi X-Plus and X-Max for awhile, but I finally pulled the trigger on the purchase after seeing my friends X-Max that he purchased. Given the size of the X-Max, I choice the X-Plus for its smaller size. The X-Plus does have a smaller build area than the X-Max, but I do not print to many things that require a larger build area and if I do I can always use my SV01. When I first received my printer and unboxed it, it did not power up. As you can imagine this was a bit disappointing and frustrating at first. However I do work in the I.T. field and understand that things happen during shipping or the vendor may just have gotten a bad batch of parts. During my research I kept seeing and reading that Qidi Technologies had really good support services so I decided to test this versus just sending the printer back like most folks would have. Honestly, I was not disappointed! Qidi Technologies does most of their support via email, so it does make the support process take a little longer as their support folks are located in China. However, if you are patient and let the process run its course I think you will be very happy with the end result. When I first discovered that my printer would not power on, I emailed there support folks with my printer information and the steps that I had already tried. I eventually received an email bad with instructions on the first steps of troubleshooting that they wanted me to perform. The send Hi-Res pictures and links to videos that very clearly walks you through what steps to perform as well as clearly written instructions. I followed the instructions and sent back the requested pictures and information that they asked for as the initial steps did not fix the problem. I received another email from support with the next steps to perform with more pictures and more instructions. Now here is the part that really impressed me as I have never seen any other support group do this. At this point they offered to credit me $100.00 and continue troubleshooting to fix the issue. As I was going through this second round of troubleshooting, I discovered that the issue turned out to be a wire that had come loose at the power plug. The wire most likely came loose in shipping as is common with I.T. equipment from time to time. I reseated all of the cables, put everything back together to the original configuration and powered on the printer. Everything has work great since. I chose not to take the credit that they offered as I understand that things happen during shipping and I dont feel that my particular issue was due to any fault of Qidi Technologies. I have a working printer and their support was awesome! The whole support process took about two and a half days due to the differences in time zone and my availability to work the steps provided. At the end of the day though, calling support and working through the issue was still faster and easier than boxing everything back up and send it back to Amazon for a RMA and replacement. I own three Qidi printers (X-Plus, Shadow 5.5S, and Shadow 6.0 Pro) and have been extremely happy with all of them. In my opinion you will not be disappointed with any of the Qidi Technologies printers. The quality is good, and their support is some of the best that I have ever encountered.

Out of the box, this printer was extremely easy to use. Directions were straightforward, and the print quality is great. We had a minor issue with the printer, but customer service was able to assist us immediately. Very satisfied with this printer so far.

Has its pros and cons. The nozzle comes in screws really tight. Follow instructions when replacing, or taking it off. Don’t screw it back on very tight, or else next time you take it off it might break and become stuck-threaded into the hot end block. I had to get a replacement. Don’t use pla in the hotter extruder! It will jam and be a nightmare to get out.

I like how simple everything is with this printer. It is very easy to setup, to print, to export a file, etc. Additionally, the tech support is unmatched. They also reply within a couple hours and always know what the problem is.

This printer worked great right out of the box after leveling. Probably about 30 prints in not really any issues. I had one issue with clogging but I ran a needle through the hot end and now she prints just fine. Great printer.
