Unpacked and had the test print done with no problems. On subsequent prints I noticed that square corners were not printing at 90 degrees. Investigating, I realized that the left side was tracking ahead of the right and that I had caused the problem by failing to remove a clip from one belt, in spite of clear warnings to do so. I emailed Linda at Qidi for repair instructions. Next day I had a video from her and the fix was completed in less than a minute. This is my first machine and I am happy with my choice.

This printer is very easy to figure out and creates amazing objects. However, the best part is the customer service. We had a problem where filament got stuck in the feeder and emailed the company. Within 12 hours they mailed us back w/ a link to 2 different videos explaining how to take apart the head and fix it and it worked. Very happy w/ the purchase.

Ive purchased the Qidi X-Plus beginning of this year and did struggle with their high heat hotend. Tech support has been great and will send replacement parts right away. Qidi has now upgraded there hot end to be completely all metal tube. This new hotend is night and day on the prints with ASA. Unlike other FDM printers, this Qidi X-Plus needs little to zero tweaking and maintenance due to its ridgid linear bearings and table. This printer has been running 24-7 since January and still prints great quality prints.

First impressions are: The printer is really big and loud, even more without the top lid, which is recommended to remove when printing on PLA. Bed tuning is a little tricky and not automatic as some models.

I will admit - I had some issues at the beginning with the WiFi, but support walked me through a number of steps to check one component and the next and came up with VERY fast solutions/steps to try with less than 12 hour turn around each time. In fact, if I contacted in the evening, I got answers within minutes. Apart from that issue (which is now 100% fixed btw), the machine the entire time has been robust, simple to use, and pretty darn fast. I am THRILLED with what I got for the price and am thankful for this device. Good work, Qidi!

This printer is a workhorse. Fantastic prints right out for the box. Tech support is terrific! I upgraded from the Qidi X-One for the print side upgrade. The different was immediate. This machine is super quiet. I had to really listen to tell if it was even on. The removable print bed is fantastic, great idea doing this. Wifi printing is a plus, but I don’t use it due to my router being to far away. I recently has a sensor error for the hot end, after a quick email to tech support I was back to printing in no time. Since I bought this machine I have bought the X-Pro and the Shadow 5.5S resin printer. I also have a couple of friends that went with Qidi because of my success with them. I stand by these machines

I bought a X-Plus on a Thursday night and got it the next Monday. The packaging is wisely designed and feels very sturdy. The instruction is well written and the assembling is pretty easy and straightforward (I might be biased here because I watched the unboxing and review video on YouTube before I placed my order). The touch screen is fast responding, accurate and easy to use. The print bed alignment is nearly fully automatic. I chose the fast/recommanded version and all I had to do was just pressing the up and/or down arrow on the touch screen, without the need to tighten or loose any knob. The WIFI setup was also straightforward, though it could only detect my 2.5G WIFI instead of the 5G. I dont regard it as a problem since I always keep on the 2.5G for my Canon printer and some other smart home appliance. Then I quickly took off the preinstalled extruder with bronze nozzle and put on the the high temp one and tested printing out a Wahoo bike mount with Carbon Fiber PC, which I spent so much time with my old printer and always ended up with unsuccessful outcomes which were brittle and broke apart quickly under my torture testing. I was very excited that this time with the same filament but this new WiFi X-plus, the print was really strong and survived all the stresses. The only imperfection is that the there was some unsmoothness around the bottom layer side wall. I tried several different slicing settings and this was rather persistent. So I contacted the customer service listed in both the manual and the front panel of this printer. She seemed to be very knowledgeable and suggested that it could be because I set the extruder too close to the bed. I think she is correct because I noticed the base layer was so tightly adhering to the printing bed and it took much quite some effort to peel off the print. While Im adjusting the nozzle and trying a new print she is patiently slicing and testing printing out my STL file. Though we are still working on the solution to consumate my Wahoo mount print, its already way much better than what I received when I was trying to get some support for my old printer. For the versatile functionalities , and the superior customer service and support, I regard this printer very worth buying. I just feel pity that I didnt buy it at the time when looking for my first 3d printer.

The X-Plus is an excellent 3D printer. Its easy to setup and use. The Qidi Print SW is very good and the printer connects well with wired ethernet or wifi. I had a tech question or two that were quickly answered - very good customer service. Overall a very good choice from beginner to highly experienced user. A nice note is that the print bed is large and has enable me to do a wide variety of designs/prints.
