> 3 dayMy first 3D printer, and not for toys or nic naks or puzzles, but for parts, prototyping and inventions. Today I printed a part 10 X 6 X 3. It took about 10 hours. I am pleased with the reliability, print quality, and features. It is well designed, durable, and very straight forward. Cons: Clunky Software, functional but not grade A. No Windows Driver, but the supplied QiDi app does fine processing the STL files from your program or even Windows 3D maker program in Win 10. Make sure the USB is installed in the printer before trying to send any files via the net. You may have to refresh or reboot to recognize the drive. You may have to send the file twice. You will know if it failed. Once sent, printing is easy. TECH SUPPORT: Had to use this tech support several times. They are great, really want to satisfy the customer. The will answer the simplest or difficult questions, and sell parts as needed.

> 3 dayI purchased this printer to really hit the ground running. I was not disappointed. I have not really had any issues with it at all. It is solidly built and I have printed hundreds of small parts, mainly in TPU. I didnt really need to utilize the customer support except when and if you want to upgrade the firmware. You have to contact them directly as the revisions are not publicly available. The customer service is remarkably fast and courteous. I had a small issue upgrading to the newest firmware and they helped me resolve it completely. They also provided me a printer profile for Ultimaker Cura slicer. They respond pretty much within 24 hours which is pretty reassuring when dealing with such a complex device.

Greater than one weekThis tool will revolutionize my ability to fix appliances, fashion tools, and repair small engines. I love the independence of being able to make something myself. And the personal service provided by Sophia is the best Ive ever known. Sophia answered my questions, provided help where I needed it, and followed up to ensure I was a completely satisfied customer. Thank you, Sophia, youre awesome!

> 3 dayThis was my first real foray into the world of 3d Printing and after 2 months or using my QIDI X-Plus, its been one of my best purchases ever, hands down. Right out of the box, the X-Plus can print just about anything you feed into it, thanks to the extra high-temp extruder with the hardened nozzle thats included with the normal extruder and nozzle combo. So, in addition to the usual PLA, PET-G, ABS, and the like, you can also print Carbon Fiber, Polycarbonate, HIPS, and more. Its a matter of unplugging the ENTIRE extruder assembly, taking it off the rails, and plugging the new one in. Its just that easy. Basically, its plug-and-play. Or plug-and-print, to be more accurate. The print quality is outstanding. The printer itself is sturdy and can be set up to be fully enclosed, for those filaments that have odors or perform better with higher ambient temperatures. You can set up your filament on the holder externally or internally. The door is huge, but can be removed if you need to, just as the side panels are easily detached. Leveling is as easy as pushing a button, checking the nozzle height with the included card, and youre done. And if you are confused about something or have any problems at all, QIDIs customer service is insane. The turn around is quick and theyre incredibly helpful and friendly. In my opinion, you simply cant go wrong with this printer or with this company. Im already saving up for another QIDI printer (the X-Pro) to put beside this one. I know I wont be disappointed.

> 3 dayThis was my first 3D printer, arrived extremely well packaged, in excellent condition. Easy bed-leveling instructions and the thumb drive has a lot of info and videos on it. Had it level and printed test print in under an hour. The fact that it can print using a variety of different filament types was what interested me the most. PLA, ABS, Carbon Fiber, etc. So as you try different items you can use different filament types. Great customer support. Hint if you have it hooked to your home network over CAT 5 you still need the USB plugged into the front of the printer and you send the file using the WiFi button.

> 3 dayI bought this mainly as a tool. It just works. I have a boat which is difficult to get parts for or expensive. This helps print parts that are very unique. Also prints parts for my jeep and fins for my paddle board. Also helped my friend fix his blinds that he measured incorrectly. Print quality can be tweaked depending on filament. Youtube has a lot of info. Tech support responded immediately with a problem I had with the low temp extruder. It has a plastic blower part that was upgraded that mine didnt have and they sent it out and received in 5 days. I guess you could say its for beginners because its easy to use but its not low quality. Nylon printing is important because I need the strength of some parts. I have not tried carbon fiber yet because nylon is strong enough for me. Sending the files via wifi is a great feature. Photo above is a part I had to duplicate using Blender. One is original.

> 3 dayThis is my second printer for reference. I wanted something with higher temp capabilities for printing nylon and other high temp materials. This is amazing for everything. It has been great for pla prints, amazing for asa and prints nylons without much hassle. My low temp extruder arrived damaged and they were quick to send a new one to me while I used the high temp extruder in the mean time. I am absolutely thrilled with the quality and reliability of this printer. It seems like the upgrades since the original xplus have made a lot of difference and they sure made it a great experience for me. The slicer program that they use is great and has every feature that I would want or need, the company is quick about pushing updates to the software if there is an issue and they are very responsive through email. Overall I don’t think you can go wrong with the xplus 2 or any qidi printer.
