This is the first 3D printer that Ive owned and the quality is great. The printer came fully assembled and the instructions are clear and easy to follow to get you printing in no time. The Qidi Print slicer software is simple to use and has hundreds of customizable settings in, Expert mode. The printer comes with a 1 kg spool of PLA filament to get you going. It also comes with 2 extruders; one low temperature extruder to print PLA, TPU, PETG, ABS, etc. The second, high temperature extruder is for printing the more exotic filaments like, Polycarbonate-Carbon Fiber and Nylon-Carbon Fiber. I have printed in every filament that I listed and the Qidi has done an awesome job! Not only is this a great printer, but Qidi support is very responsive and quick to answer questions and help you out. When I email support, they respond the following day. They are on the other side of the world from me, so they are sleeping when Im awake. Thank you Sophia! Youre awesome!! I most definitely recommend this printer to both beginners and experienced people.

Quality build machine, great tech support. I brought this printer to print carbon fiber n order some heapa filter to filter out chemicals. This unit comes only with kind like foam filter! This is my second printer !

I dont have any prior experience with 3d printing and Ive been extremely satisfied thus far. The provided slicing software has been satisfactory, though I have not begun using any of the more difficult-to-use filaments or the provided high-temperature print head. But if you want a printer that requires no fuss or hassle right out of the box, this is a solid option to consider.

We purchased this unit to create prototypes for our small company. Initially it worked flawlessly on pretty much every type of filament, but the TPU needed a lot of tweaking. We liked it so much that we bought a second unit for our stuff, and then two more as gifts for a couple of people who helped us get started. Everyone loves their Qidi. The slicer is pretty good as well. A few months into it, the last of the Qidis we purchased started blowing up the prints halfway into the run. It was very frustrating and I was forced to turn to Qidi tech support. It should be noted that a huge part of my original purchase decision was based on the reviews of their support. I am new to 3D printing and was pretty sure I would need it. I am blown away by their level of support. It seems like they are on it 24/7! My original email was at a very odd hour, and I had a reply very quickly. We went back and forth for awhile trying to iron out the details of the failure, and every time I emailed, they emailed back. Long story short, they sent me not only the new extruder I needed, but an updated version of the high temp extruder as well. They were patient and willing to do what it took to get my problem solved. That is all I could ask for. This review isnt particularly helpful printer-wise I guess, in part because I am pretty new to 3D, but I am very happy with the printer, the cost of the printer, the size of the print volume and wildly happy with the support they provide. Things are gonna break, particularly high tech things. Its good to have an incredible team of help to back you up. Thank you Qidi!

I purchased this printer in hopes to get consistent prints in ABS. It delivers. It prints very well without issues with no additional tweaking. It is also very easy to set up and use. In short, I would highly recommend this for anyone needing a consistent printer for ABS, but Im sure it has plenty of other good uses too. If you are only printing simple materials like PLA, you dont need this expensive of a printer.

I have had this printer for a few years now. This is a very high quality printer. The parts on this printer are well made. The build plate is thick and has zero warping. Once leveled, this printer stays leveled for long periods of time so you get quality print after quality print. I also love the larger build plate. Parts do ship from China, but their customer service is outstanding and they do everything to make it right when you have a problem.

We got this for my 13 year old. It must be easy to use because he has been printing constantly since he received it and everything has turned out great. The level of detail in some of the things he has printed is mind boggling, things turn out perfectly. We did have an issue with the extruder and contacted the company. I was very impressed with their customer service, they really stand behind their product. Now everything is back on track and my son is making everything he can dream up.

I was in the market for a new 3D printer. My first one. I borrowed an older QIDI from a friend and was impressed with the design and software. The printer is very good quality and I have been easily able to print projects (as a beginner). The customer service is as good as is represented here on the reviews. I needed some help with a part and customer service responded within a few hours.

I bought a X-Plus on a Thursday night and got it the next Monday. The packaging is wisely designed and feels very sturdy. The instruction is well written and the assembling is pretty easy and straightforward (I might be biased here because I watched the unboxing and review video on YouTube before I placed my order). The touch screen is fast responding, accurate and easy to use. The print bed alignment is nearly fully automatic. I chose the fast/recommanded version and all I had to do was just pressing the up and/or down arrow on the touch screen, without the need to tighten or loose any knob. The WIFI setup was also straightforward, though it could only detect my 2.5G WIFI instead of the 5G. I dont regard it as a problem since I always keep on the 2.5G for my Canon printer and some other smart home appliance. Then I quickly took off the preinstalled extruder with bronze nozzle and put on the the high temp one and tested printing out a Wahoo bike mount with Carbon Fiber PC, which I spent so much time with my old printer and always ended up with unsuccessful outcomes which were brittle and broke apart quickly under my torture testing. I was very excited that this time with the same filament but this new WiFi X-plus, the print was really strong and survived all the stresses. The only imperfection is that the there was some unsmoothness around the bottom layer side wall. I tried several different slicing settings and this was rather persistent. So I contacted the customer service listed in both the manual and the front panel of this printer. She seemed to be very knowledgeable and suggested that it could be because I set the extruder too close to the bed. I think she is correct because I noticed the base layer was so tightly adhering to the printing bed and it took much quite some effort to peel off the print. While Im adjusting the nozzle and trying a new print she is patiently slicing and testing printing out my STL file. Though we are still working on the solution to consumate my Wahoo mount print, its already way much better than what I received when I was trying to get some support for my old printer. For the versatile functionalities , and the superior customer service and support, I regard this printer very worth buying. I just feel pity that I didnt buy it at the time when looking for my first 3d printer.
