> 3 dayI purchased this printer in hopes to get consistent prints in ABS. It delivers. It prints very well without issues with no additional tweaking. It is also very easy to set up and use. In short, I would highly recommend this for anyone needing a consistent printer for ABS, but Im sure it has plenty of other good uses too. If you are only printing simple materials like PLA, you dont need this expensive of a printer.

> 3 dayThis printer does wonders for the price point, probably even surpassing costlier options. Print quality is amazing, even when using cheaper quality filaments. So far I have printed 10 items and each one has completed without a hitch. Did have some issues during setup but these were quickly resolved by their phenomenal tech support. They quickly responded and helped me solve the issues. Highly recommend this printer to anyone trying to get into 3D printer or even seasoned veterans. You will not be disappointed!!!

> 3 dayThis was an upgrade to a DIY Prusa i3 clone. I had so many issues with the clone I wanted to see if the old adage of you get what you pay for held true. I can say that this printer is the best printer I have ever seen. It printed great right out of the box. I have contacted customer support a few times for various things and they have been extremely helpful. I cannot say enough good things about QIDI printers. I can say for sure my next printer will certainly be a QIDI. 2 things to keep in mine when printing. 1. Level it. Cant stress this enough. Once you get it diald you will eventually need to relevel it. But dont be afraid to relevel it again. It will only make your prints more beautiful. 2. Not all filaments are created equal. You might need to play with settings to get a smooth print.

> 3 dayThis is a great printer for the money. The Benchy in the image is my first print right out of the box (right after setting the printer and performing bed leveling (by the way is not automatic but is very quick and works well); I used the included filament and didnt change a thing in the slicer and came out pretty nice! If you print only PLA this printer does an excellent job straight out of the box. Other materials like PETG will require some tweaking of the slicer but I got it to work really well too. I think the hardware on this printer is really good and if you take the time to set up the materials correctly, you can get some very nice prints. Also, customer service has been excellent and very quick to reply especially compared to other Chinese companies. Overall I would recommend this printer even to beginners; you will still have to learn a few things (normal to 3D printing) but compared to other printers this one is fairly simple to set up and use.

> 3 dayI havent been this happy with a printer out of the box since the Super Racer. Everything just works. Ill start with what I dont like. PETG/ASA doesnt always stick to the plate (use magigoo). It didnt come with a camera The extruder isnt dual gear Yeah, thats it. The spool holder sucks but I only use esun or sunlu filament dryers anyway. I wasnt using it. I printed out a iittle sheft in polymax pla that connects to the spool mounter grabbers, and put some VHB tape on it, and attached a sunlu box. It has a hole in the cap. You can print out a filler piece. I printed one out with a hole in the center. I dont need it to be airtight to print asa/petg/pla. Just to hold about 60c. It will do that just closing it up a little bit at the top. If I was doing nylon, Id close it up and use teflon tubing to the hotbox. Thankfully, I just need it to rock with polylight asa and it does. For the camera, apparently if you get a iittle square one like the wyze, you can fit it in a perfect spot up front. I know my camera doesnt fit because it has a predator looking ablong head. Their wireless is great but I like octoprint. I found a guide on youtube for connecting a usb to serial cable, then connected up a pi4. That being said... I end up using their slicer a lot. Their settings for petg and asa are excellent. I just like octoprint. The extruder is only one sided, but its a pretty slick design. I havent had any issues with it slipping. That being said I found a carriage upgrade called the Icarus2 and ill probably do it just to cut the printunit weight in half, and get a orbiter 2.0. Love those things. You will get a little bit of ringing if you print faster. I dont see any below 45mm/s. The high heat unit is amazing. I havent used it much. I can get away with ASA on the normal head. Its nice to know its there though for filaments that dont need fans like petg or abs or asa. The print quality with asa is astounding. Its not always, but youll frequently get a print that looks like near PLA quality. The yellow sticker on the front was kinda garish so I removed it. I ended having to use adhesive remover for the glue. Looks much better. As is the norm these day, the box it arrived in was beat to sin. Holes in it. The printer didnt get damaged at all. Testament to the rugged design. Ive leveled the bed ONCE. ONE TIME. Ive checked it at 60, 80, 110 degrees and it does not appear to change position. HOWEVER if you use the other side of the build plate for ABS/ASA, etc it will change the height enough to mess up your first layer. I just use the grippy side and use magigoo or aquanet to make them stick AND make them release without tearing the plate. That and, I LOVE the texture on this build plate. I want this texture as a finish. it looks awesome. This is hands down THE BEST buildplate Ive ever used. I love it. Most printers are a horrible starting point. Especially if you want success printing hotter stuff. Ender 3? Enclosure, build surface, extruder, hot-end, all the time to do it all. By the time you are done you could have just bought a QIDI Plus. They did all the heavy lifting with decent software and great printing results. You even have upgrade paths and a community of fans making things for it. Hope this helps.

Ive had very little issues with it in the year and a half ive owned it its very easy to work on and the programing is very informative, quality and craftsmanship is pretty amazing I do recommend upgrading to the glass bed makes things so much easier to clean and print quality improves with less messing with the settings. So far Im very happy with my purchase

> 3 dayI am certainly impressed by this printer. Ive had it running 24/7 for a little over a month and it has been error free. I previously had Lulzbot printers and loved those but this has been so much easier to use. It printed right out of the box! I didnt even know a printer could do that! Ive been printing PLA, ABS & ASA with no problems at all. I havent had a chance to use the High Temp print head yet. The removable flex-plate is a real joy to use. I havent had to scrape a single print loose yet, just bend and it pops right off. I may replace the build tak type surface with PEI later but its working great so maybe not. I havent had to use tech support so I cant say anything about that. But all in all, Im happy I decided to go with the X-Plus. Its got everything I need and does a wonderful job and was way cheaper than some of the other printers I was looking at. If youre consider the X-Plus, just save yourself some time and headaches and pull the trigger. Youll be glad you did!

18-11-2024Had some issues with machine, but the customer service was excellent. They have worked hard to resolve issues. The print quality is better than I expected. I have shown others with 3d printers and they complimented the smoothness. Also far easier to use than I expected. I have a cnc machine, and have used other similar machines. I expected 3d to be same difficulty with 3 dimensions. Adjust heat, choose material and print. Read other reviews this is worth every dime.

> 3 dayThis printer is one of the best I have come across. The extremely easy out of the box printing was perfect. The manuals made it easy for unboxing and set up. I put several hundred hours of printing on this and had the y-axis motor go out. Tech Support was amazing. I contacted the after sales support and withing 48 hours had a new motor shipped out to me. They we invaluable in resolving my issues. They provided me video instructions on how to install the new motor. Boom! Back up and running.
