R QIDI TECHNOLOGY X-PlusⅡ 3D Printer, New Upgrade Intelligent Industrial Grade 3D Printers,Large Print Size,Printing with Nylon, Carbon Fiber, PC,High Precision Printing,10.6x7.9x7.9 Inch

This is my first 3D printer so I didn’t know what to expect, I wanted to have the ability to experiment with different materials and this looked like a good choice. It can with the additional in the box, though I have not used it yet. I could use the included slicer because it’s windows/Mac only. It came with a Simplify3D profile so I have been using that. l with great success. I also tried Cura and it worked really well but the quality in Simplify3D seems better. PLA and PETG work great. I’ve used Hatchbox and eSun. I haven’t got ABS dialed in yet, small parts are amazing but larger parts suffer from warping. ABS has a really nice appearance and feel so I will have to dedicate more time. The printer is big and heavy. It’s well made, everything is accessible and user servicable. I have had to contact support And had answers within 24 hours. In one instance I asked where I could get a spare extruder ribbon connector because I had damaged the release button and a replacement was immediately sent under warranty by DHL - I had it in 3 days!!

This was my first 3d printer and I was nervous about how much time it would take me to learn how to use it. It was incredibly easy to use right out of the box and has been very user friendly without any experience in 3d printing whatsoever. I was successfully printing parts right away and have used it consistently for 6 months now with minimal issues. I did have one problem with the extruder (which was either a result of user error or the material I was using) so I contacted the company for help. Linda in customer service took great care of me right away. They sent a replacement extruder for a very reasonable cost and helped me understand my issue and also provided advice and answered other questions I have. I have been very impressed and would highly recommend this printer for beginners. At some point I may get another one the larger model (XMax).

Very solid machine on the hardware side but needs some dialing in and support has your back.

Print quality is beautiful and this 3d printer is much quieter than my older 3d printer. My younger sisters feel it easy to clean and operate(The removable magnet that sits on the print bed is amazing).

I have had for 3 days, kind of a rocky start, I baught this because all the reviews were so great. Mine is a little different, I have prior experience to programming and running cnc programs so I thought this would be a cool hobby to help me gain more experience and have fun programming at home and running a machine. I have to say ,the fusion 360 software is the best I have found so far, but I still have alot to learn, I work in inches, not millimeters, so I cant find a way to make my dimensions right when I switch to the qidi slicer which is annoying, but I can change dimensions in slicer but not for everything I need to. (If someone knows what Im doing wrong there, please tell me how to fix that issue. I got to know the extruder inside and out by 3rd day, because I still have no idea how Im supposed to change the fillament in this thing, Ive tryed every way from videos I watched and no luck so far. -customer service answers very quick thru email, but is not very helpful at all,you pretty much try to explain something to them, and they act like they know what your talking about and then apologize and act friendly. Very nice btw, I am not trying to be at all too negative because I really do enjoy this printer so far, but you are going to have to be pretty machine minded or be willing to learn if you want to be able to design ,draw your own programs, I find no satisfaction at all in copying other peoples parts for download, but fusion 360 I think so far works very well for this slicer for a free cad software, please let me know if any software is better for better accurate measurements for part. Would love more info about the xplus, not enough out there yet.

U[date 11/13/20 Still am happy with the printer. So much so bought my granddaughter and son a QIDI for xams. Easy to learn and a great customer service experience which is a plus I have the QIDI X PLUS for 3 days. I have no experience with 3d printing. This printer had step by step instructions for assembly with visuals. I had it up and running in less than 30 minutes. I have only printed a couple things so far. But I am very pleased with the results. I would recommend this product. Update still a five star rating- had technical difficulties, support team replied back within 24 hours and was able to resolve my issues. Update: Customer service Tech department does a great job following up with me ensuring I am not having issues. Bought my son (age 40) the maker for Christmas. Plan on getting a second qidi for myself in a couple years.

It just works great. I was using a lulzbot mini/cura/octoprint at a 3D printing club and then purchased the qidi for myself. Dont know if the luzbot was old, cura settings were off or what, but my prints on the qidi are much better quality and resolution. This unit has world class build quality and the wifi based software has worked just fine for me. Have not had any technical issues at all so far.

This is a review for Qidi X-Plus purchased June 2, 2022, for $699. I bought this based on the great specs, all the positive reviews, price, and comments on how good the customer support is. The printer is excellent right out of the box. Ive been printing with it almost daily for 3 weeks with no major issues. I had 2 questions, and customer support provided helpful e-mail replies in 4 and 8 hours, respectively. Unlike my previous printers, my wife thinks this one looks really cool and fancy, particularly with the complete enclosure and LED lights. The yellow sticker on front is thick and comes off easily in one piece if you choose to. Ive had no issues with the Qidi slicing software and recently found the advanced dropdown to see the full list of slicer settings.

Im not an expert on 3D printers but think this is an excellent one by QIDI. I would recommend this printer to others and highly recommend the super support by QIDIs support team!

Good printer, test models were good quality right out of the box. Had a slight issue caused by shipping, got in touch with customer service and the were quick to solve the issue. Qidi has great customer service. Would recommend.
