Boots my Windows up in 7.5 seconds after the BIOS screen. It keeps Final Fantasy load times to 5-10 seconds. It was 30-60 seconds with a regular HDD.

So you cant just throw it in and format it, you do have to use the included software to clone the boot drive you already have. Worked out, but it did add a couple of steps I wasnt prepared for. Youll also need a cable thatll connect the hard drive to a USB. Works great, blazing fast, looks good.

This is by far the best SSD I have ever used. I have used it on my custom PC as well as on my 2010 MBP. Speeds drastically increased on both (as would be expected by any SSD) but I have had zero issues with compatibility. It worked as a truly plug and play drive. Very impressed.

Fantastic! Its fast, stable, and the installation software made everything a breeze. I plugged in to an external hard drive adapter, followed the instructions to have it copy (very easy to follow and understand), and had it installed in under an hour.

If you havent got a SSD yet, do so as youll wonder what took you so long. This is my 4th one I installed on different machines & they all rock! Samsung has the best software to tweak you drive & their system migration works great too. Once experienced youll never go back to platter drives - especially those of you dropping then into laptops . No need to worry about dropping your laptop as the SSDs can withstand 200gs of impact - something else will break but not the SSD.

Put this baby in my 2009 Acer Aspire laptop as my original drive finally died and WOW... SSD drives make SUCH AN IMPROVEMENT in speed over regular disk hard drives!!! My computer feels like a brand new computer! Faster than OEM!!!

Great SSD drive, I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a high end SSD but that is on a budget. Do not trust the other brand SSD and only go with samsung if you value your data or computer.

Works fine but had some trouble getting the data migration software to recognize the drive properly initially. The Samsung software that shipped with the drive does not work correctly with Windows 10.
