> 3 dayBe warned, the included Samsung software disc doesnt function properly with Windows 10. There are numerous tools on the internet to solve this problem, though.

> 3 dayReplaced the old slow HDD in my ThinkPad X220 with this unit. Along with upgrading from 4GB of memory to 16GB, I have breathed new life into an old machine. Performance has improved dramatically and I will likely get several more years out of my trusty Thinkpad. Using the Samsung software (had to download it from their we site) transfer of old data was a breeze.

> 3 dayGreat drive, will by another as a spare or put in my work computer. Also purchase these for friends and family as I fix their ailing mechanical drives and bring new life to aging laptops.

> 3 dayOrdered this as a replacement hard drive for an Acer Aspire F15 that I custom ordered last year. The Sandisk UltraII 480 that was originally in it, failed after little over 1 year. I plugged the Samsung in and installed Win10 right away with no issues.

> 3 dayI have a MacBook Pro (13-inch, Early 2011) on which my HD crashed. Ordered this SSD. Made a boot USB stick with El Capitan on another Mac. Opened up my unit. Popped out the dead HD. Popped in this SSD. Booted up from the USB stick. Used Disk Utility to format the SSD. Installed El Capitan on the SSD. Hint: You may have to go into Terminal and reset the date, and be patient as the OS is loaded from the USB stick onto the SSD. Then, I was up and running with what feels like a blazingly fast new MacBook Pro. And, to give you some idea, 250 GB is plenty. Ive reinstalled Open Office, Google Chrome, Adobe Flash, Citrix Receiver, and a few other programs, and I still have 230 GB remaining on the SSD. Could not be more pleased.
