> 24 hourInsanely fast. I was using a 7200 hard drive before this and I wish I would have switched to nvme for ever ago.

> 24 hourI had a feeling I was gonna like the 970 EVO after getting the 960 EVO to replace the mechanical hard drive in my gaming laptop. The boot times are out of this world fast and the system now with full SSDs on board runs a tad cooler than before by about -2°C to -4°C. I also have a ton of extra space for adding more creation tools and some games that wont fit on the 860 EVO so that is another win. I highly recommend this product!

The fast one
> 24 hourI bought this after I returned adata xpg pro for my MacBook Pro 2014. I was getting very slow write speed. I ordered the Samsung evo 970 which I got yesterday and I installed it. Set up was easy. I am getting three times faster write speed of 1500 and 1600 of read speed. No issues with regards to sleep or restarting the device. I am very happy with Samsung.

> 24 hourI cannot find a single thing bad to say about this product. I have a PC with a motherboard that supports two M.2 drives. The current one I have installed is just a 250GB containing the OS and other windows based applications. I cant tell you how nice it is to hit the power button and from a cold boot, have your PC fully started and ready to go in under a min. Yes. One min. I have timed it. However, at just 250GB I wasnt really able to store any games on it. I only had a regular 2TB HDD. Soooooo, fast-forward to now and I purchased the 2TB Samsung 970 Evo. Installation was a synch. Two screws, pop it in, almost like a stick of RAM and add the screws back with cover. Booted up my PC and I had already installed Samsung Magician (highly recommended). I formatted the drive and tested it in Samsung Magician, benchmarks were VERY impressive. After moving most of my games over to the drive I booted Star Citizen up (a notoriously hardware intensive game) and within 30 seconds was at the main menu. WOW...just WOW haha I have been using the drive and I dont think I will ever be able to return to a normal HDD or even an older SSD.
