Bought this to replace a Dyson. Replacement part for the Dyson was more expensive than the Shark. Shark cleans well, if not better than the Dyson. Great product and a great price

I received this vacuum a few weeks ago and so far so good. It’s light and maneuvers well. It works great on both my hardwood floors as well as my low pile rug. I took a star away because it doesn’t stand alone upright when not in use. You really have to make sure it’s leaning against something and at the right angle otherwise the wheels just slide out from underneath and it falls flat to the floor. I store it in a corner in my laundry room so I don’t really care but it is a bit of a nuisance if you want to keep it straight up and down.

Light weight. Cool color. Easy canister to clean out. I vacuum more often now cuz it so manageable. My dogs also do not bark at this one. I havent tried it on furniture yet but am excited to try. Easy wand release to nab corners and clip it back in then take off. Swivels so fast. Love it!!

It gets the job done. I like how its easy to maintain and setup. Its small enough to store away in the corner. Got that minimalist look which I like.

Pros - Picks up everything. Gets under beds and furniture really well. Does a great job on floors. Cons - Very top heavy. Difficult to maneuver on plush carpet. Doesnt stand up on its own. You have to buy separately the holder to hang it up.

It’s been about a month having this vac and it’s been great. I love that the light comes on to spotlight the dirt. It’s actually hair in my case since I have a golden retriever who sheds an insane amount of hair all over the house! It has a nice long cord so I can move freely around the room and I love how easy it is to detach from the base to use as a hand vac. The suction is great and I can get my living room and kitchen all squared away in about 5 minutes. The only issue that I have is the rubber around the handle is already peeling off. Just makes it look a lot older than it actually is.

Does a great job around our house...much easier to operate than our Shark Navigator. Only issue is, Shark doesnt list any HV370 numbers and currently no way to purchase filters, hook or parts

Original review: 11.14.14 Normally, I wouldnt write a review when there are 554 others, but this vacuum cleaner has changed my life! Its hard to believe how much dirt it gets up-*every* time I vacuum...which means its hard to believe how much dirt I was living in before, in the world of the Hoover upright. Im still experimenting with all the attachment doodads--its way more vacuum than Ive ever had before. But even though I love it, there are a few things that are less than ideal, for me at least: *The cord is way too long. I get tangled up in it. It would be easier for me to unplug a shorter one and put it in another outlet in another room. *The little devil is so powerful that it pulls me across the room. *The dirt cup is hard to get off. I have to use a knife handle to push the release button while I open the cup with the other hand. *I do wish it stood up by itself. Meanwhile, Im trying to persuade all my friends, clean-freaks and otherwise, to get one. 1.6.15 Update. Heres the caveat, which maybe everyone else would know to look for, but I didnt. The vacuum cleaner fell over tonight and as I bent to pick it up, I noticed that the bottom was turquoise blue…just the color of my rug. When I looked closer, the entire beater bar was wound tightly with cat fur and blue strands from the rug. It took me 25 minutes to cut, pry, and pull all of it off--see the photo for how much there was. So now I know to clean off the bottom of the vacuum in addition to emptying the cup every time and washing the filter once a month. 3.26.17 Update. My little Shark Rocket is still going strong. *The dirt cup is no longer hard to get off--the latch is not as tight as it was when it was new. *Now that I know to check the beater bar whenever I put it away, anything that gets caught is easily removed. The suction is still strong though--it once ate a sock. *As it ages, the locking mechanism that keeps it upright doesnt work as well. It needs to be firmly propped up against a wall so it doesnt come crashing to the floor. It still pulls in the most amazing amount of dirt, dust, and cat fur, even if I vacuumed the day before.

    Greater than one week

This has made cleaning around the house so much easier! My dog sheds so much and this really does pick up everything. Haven’t used the other attachments but so far I’m happy!
