I bought the same model as my previous Shark vacuum because I was so pleased with the original one, which broke due to my own misuse. It’s lightweight and easy to use. Highly recommend it!

I’ve been using shark vacuums for the last 10 years in my housekeeping company. All around shark vacuums have been my favorite. Love the convenience of disconnecting bottom base of the vacuum

Youre reading reviews for this vacuum because you have two concerns: hair and weight. Consider your problems solved. First, hair. As you can see from the attached image, I have the kind of long, extremely thick hair that strangles vacuum rollers dead in nanoseconds. This vacuums roller has a groove carved into the plastic so you can quickly and easily slide a knife or scissor blade in, severing every hair with no hassle. Instant cleanup, no destroyed roller. The suction is no joke. There are two settings: one that is as powerful as my old vacuum on max power, and one that is TURBO CHARGED. This will demolish ground-in dirt and hair even from high-pile carpet or rugs. The suction is so powerful, even carpeting and rugs that have been pounded completely flat have the fibers physically pulled upwards, so even if your hairy little monster of a pet likes to destroy carpet or rug fibers, after vacuuming they feel plush and wonderful. Con: on Turbo mode, you will smell burning hair. The motor really is not kidding around and will set itself on fire before it allows the tiniest speck of dirt to remain on your floor. Second: weight. Its remarkably lightweight and very easy to heft around even with tiny elf arms. The maneuverability of the vacuum head is excellent and can work around such tight unwieldy places as between chair legs. All the pieces pop apart and reassemble with no trouble, so storage and transportation will never be an issue. Con: almost all of the weight is in the top handle, where the motor is. This can make it a tiny bit difficult to get the vacuum head to stay on the ground properly, and makes it nigh impossible for you just to stand the vacuum up anywhere and leave it there. Being top-heavy does it no favors. General design con: the canister is somewhat small and connected directly to the motor so you cant just pop it out, empty it into a bin, and pop it back into the vacuum. Its very easy to empty, but you are still going to have to heft the motor around with it, and the motor is obviously still going to be plugged into the wall. Good news is that the motor/handle/canister all pops free of the other bits with a simple lever press, so its not like you need to carry the entire vacuum with you when you head to the bin. Bonus pro: there are a huge number of attachments, heads, and specialty bits and bobs in with the vacuum. I dont know what half of them are used for. Some are obviously for cleaning off stairs, or ceiling fans, or getting into crevasses, but some of them, who even knows. Literally whatever kind of application youd like this vacuum for, theres probably a specialized nozzle for it. This is the cleanest my stairs have been in four years. Final pitch: look, I get it. I have a A Thing about money where no matter how worthy a purchase it is, a triple digit price tag makes me flinch. I put off getting a new vacuum for months and watched my own mental health spiral, knowing a contributing factor was that I was living in rising masses of dirt and grime. Danger had its element, too; a pie plate exploded (dont ask) and glass shards found themselves all over my kitchen floor, and some ended up in my feet. No vacuum to clean up the shards I couldnt see and couldnt get up with a broom and dustpan. I know being surrounded by painful messes were powerless to fix is a 2020 mood and all, but this metaphor is a little too on the nose. I caved and bought the vacuum. I cranked her up this morning. This is the best Ive felt in months. I know the price tag is a little steep compared to other lightweight vacs, but its powerful and versatile enough that its absolutely worth the expenditure. If youre looking for a worthwhile vacuum that will demolish human hair, pet hair, ground-in dirt, and particulates from any flooring you could possibly have, all while staying under $200, this is it.

This thing is so worth the buy. It is like two machines in one. Very easy to operate snd very light weight but powerful. It is also very maneuverable and it has a long range because of the length and the cord. The suction is powerful too. The only thing I might add is s slightly bigger cup for the dust but other then that its s great product!!

I purchased two (2) of these vacuums, one for my mothers house and one for my condo. We had two Orecks, but the collar that holds the two pieces of the vacuum together just kept breaking. At work, I eat popcorn and some of it ends up under my desk. The cleaning people use this Shark vacuum to clean our building. I went to the supply cabinet where they keep their Shark vacuum and borrowed it to get up all the popcorn from under my desk. I then proceed to vacuum the rest of my office. It works great! Lightweight, plenty of suction, and the head swivels, so it is very easy to maneuver. I am very happy with this vacuum, and I think you will be too. 100% recommended. 5 stars!

Its a good vacuum BUT. if you have bigger stuff on the floor like little rocks, oatmeal, or dog food, this thing will just move them around and not pick up. Its a pain because it will not stand upright without having to prop up against something and the long cord definitely gets in the way. But on dog hair its great. Next time I will look at another brand

This vacuum has great suction and did a fantastic job getting the dust and dog hair. I wish I could have kept it, but the emptying of the canister is not ideal. This one was purchased to replace one of the original Rocket models. That model had a canister that could be removed, emptied and rinsed in the sink. On this model the canister is permanently attached to the vacuum. To empty it, you need to disconnect from the wand and power foot and carry the vacuum and cord to the trash. Its more difficult to keep the dust from landing outside the trash and you cannot separate it and wash it out.

I love this vacuum. It glides so smoothly and it really gets the job done. I’m making a short pros and cons list just so you have all the facts before purchasing, but I would definitely recommend! Pros: Smooth, cleans up efficiently, great for carpet, rugs, and hard floors. Cons: Very top heavy; not has thin & sleek as pictured; does not stand up on its own when storing because it is so top heavy. I have to lean it against a wall and then put something else in front of it or else it will literally roll and fall down.
