> 3 dayI do a lot of leaded stained glass. This is the best product I have found so far. Works great. Looks like it will last a long time

> 3 dayPrevious tip tinners I have owned came compacted into a puck in the container as to reduce mess or spilling. While I received the product with most of the product compacted into a puck, there was a decent amount of the tinner that was powderized, presumably due to rough shipping. It works very well, and it doesnt affect the usability, just something to be aware of to not spill if you received some powderized tinner in the container.

> 3 dayIve succesfully saved an iron I thought was a poast toasty - due to my abuse. A bit of steel wool with some brass brushing and using this I was able to restore the tip to my old ratshack and resume soldering. Now, I use this stuff on all of my irons before I put them up and before I begin soldering. Just a quick in an out with the iron at temp is all it takes. This stuff does tend to make alot of smoke, so dont be standing right over it when you apply your iron to it.

> 3 dayWorks well. Restored several tips that were otherwise trash. Just wish I had bought a couple more at the same time.

> 3 dayWould never put on a new tip again with out it! leaves a stunningly perfect smooth tinned tip unlike anything else I have ever used. If you soldier even just now and then, or just once its worth every penny

> 3 dayI am thrilled. For years I have been struggling with the tip of my Craftsman soldering iron. Nothing kept is clean. Not anymore. I just rubbed it on the stuff in the container the magic happened. This is great!

> 3 dayI never knew how to tin a soldering iron. Id sand paper it to death, sponge it to death, dip it in flux, etc. Never got solder to stick. Lo and behold...Thermaltronics!!!! I dip it, im tinned. Fixed my guitar in a fraction of the time. Cannot believe this stuff actually worked. Not sure if youre supposed to dip it every time to tin the tip, but i did since it was working :)
