> 3 dayWorks wonders for keeping my t12 soldering iron tips tinned and in great condition. Honestly I didnt think I needed tip tinner, s. and was of the belief I would be just fine and dandy using solder to tin the tip. Ha! Wish Id gotton some sooner, makes life so much easier and cuts down on time wasted trying to keep tips clean.

> 3 dayIt does its job very well, and managed to drag out the life of a quickly-deteriorating tip I was working with long enough for me to finish my small project. The container is very small, which you can see in the attached pictures, but I think itll last longer than expected. Plus, it was fun to watch the compact powder melt into a nice shiny coating.

Greater than one weekI dont know if its because Ive got cheap solder or cheap tips, but Ive always had a real tough time getting my tips tinned. This stuff, however, makes it incredibly easy! It makes a tremendous difference to my work rate, just dip it and get soldering!

Greater than one weekIm new to soldering. Found an old soldering iron with a tip that solder would not stick to. This product helped renew the tip and Ive soldered many guitar cables since. Quality product and worth the investment. Also, this product is recommended in many forums but what drew me too it was its what my amp tech uses on his soldering irons... SOLD! Says he doesnt have to use it often but its a life saver when he does.

> 3 dayThis tip tinner is amazing!!! I used the white sal-ammonia block solder iron cleaner prior to this and this beats by far, cleans easily, quickly and thoroughly. It’s doesn’t take a any physical effort like the sal-ammonia block either. I bought two more I was so happy with it.

Greater than one weekI have done a fair amount of soldering over the years, but never choose to buy this type of product. Boy was that a mistake. I got a new soldering station, and wanted to make sure I got a good first tin. Used this, and found it so easy... If youve done it the old way - and found that once the tip gets hot enough, its oxidized and wont take a tin... This fixes that in a flash! You wont be disappointed. Or at least, I wasnt!
