> 3 dayI was originally using the solder itself to tin the tip, however this dandy helper is much more efficient, especially since I have lead solder with a flux core. I am very happy with the flow of this tip tinner.

Greater than one weekI was looking to find and buy a new tip for my Weller and thought Id give this a try. It is a small tin of product and I was concerned I paid too much for this. But I tried it and it worked after several times of use on my old 35 yr old tip in the iron. I had a couple other irons and it worked for them also. I recommend this product as being effective. I felt it was a little overpriced, thus the 4 stars.

Greater than one weekI didnt realize how well this works. I found about from the what other people bought. It makes soldering much easier.

> 3 dayI am thrilled. For years I have been struggling with the tip of my Craftsman soldering iron. Nothing kept is clean. Not anymore. I just rubbed it on the stuff in the container the magic happened. This is great!

Greater than one weekNone of my tips are in terrible shape. I use it to keep them in great shape and it works great. Ordered a second container shortly after the first when I saw how well it worked. These two tins will last me a long time. Be careful when opening the small tin as the lids are finicky.

> 3 daySimplest way to tin your iron. Comes with a double sided adhesive piece to mount it to your stand.

> 3 dayMuch better than several other tinners, Way better than Oatey #95 which did not work at all., Heated Iron, touched tinner material which melted in a few seconds, tip was shiny and corrosion was soft, scrapped a little more with a utility knife, tinned again. Wow Totally perfect!! Thanks

> 3 dayIve soldered for years but have always had difficulty keeping the soldering iron tip tinned. This product works great for tinning the gun trips, and Ive found that the properly tinned tips transfers the heat more quickly and make soldering easier.

> 3 dayIt does its job very well, and managed to drag out the life of a quickly-deteriorating tip I was working with long enough for me to finish my small project. The container is very small, which you can see in the attached pictures, but I think itll last longer than expected. Plus, it was fun to watch the compact powder melt into a nice shiny coating.
