Its a small tin thats a little more than an inch across. It has a double-stick tape button on the bottom so you can mount it on your soldering station if desired. You stick the hot iron tip in and out comes a shiny, perfectly tinned tip every time. Its one of lifes little pleasures. A man needs a properly tinned soldering iron to be complete and fulfilled.

Awesome product to perfectly tin your tips. Very quick, perfect coating with just a touch of the iron. The product is a hard powdery substance, but melts easily onto the iron with just a touch. No big globs of solder to deal with.

It is easy to use, but did not completely meet expectations. The tip this was applied to only took solder up mildly better than before. Ended up replacing the tip and will be paying better attention to keeping my soldering tips better tinned prior to cooling and storing.

Works as expected and does the job of tinning solder tips. It is lead free so has a higher melting point than leaded tinner.

Been doing hobby electronics for over 50 years. What a remarkable find and soldering aid. Use to sharpened my iron tip before every solder session. Not now with this stuff, it is like bang, instant tip refresher and tinning for next time.

The product works well and has good adhesion . I wish they would sell it in a larger container .
