This really nice to have compare on just cleaning the solder tip, this really makes soldering works a lot better.

Cant live without this now- keeps your tips working great and lasts a long time. I have not used up my first pack, the container lasts quite a long time.

Love this Tip Tinner. Really puts a nice melted shine on my solder tip after cleaning. The little can started off as kind of powder like stuff, but after using its almost like waxy now. And actually I like it better than when it was new. Just buy it and you will love it. Tons better than flux and solder mix for tinning,

Soldering

Perfect for properly tinning my soldering iron tips. Easy to use. Just dip a heated tip into the compound, then wipe. #0000 steel wool works great for me.

This stuff works great best thing since buttered bread.

I was amazed - description sounded almost unbelievable - but was i wrong! Product worked great and restored the tip of my soldering iron to like new condition after only one use! Could not ask for anything better!

Works pretty well....but when a tip is really gone, its really gone. Love the HAKKO 951 models sleep mode that drops temp to below solder eutectic then rapidly heats -- sort of obviates this product, which seems more geared to full-blast all-the-time Wellers and Edsyn, etc.

Tinner did exactly what its made for. Much easier than running with just solder. Would definitely purchase again.
