Thermaltronics TMT-TC-2 Tip Tinner (20g) in 0.8oz Container

Been doing hobby electronics for over 50 years. What a remarkable find and soldering aid. Use to sharpened my iron tip before every solder session. Not now with this stuff, it is like bang, instant tip refresher and tinning for next time.

Nice double sticky on the bottom. Stuck it on the solder holder. Tins quick but smokes like mad. Recommend to have ample ventilation

had a tip that just would tin, and one or two dips improved the adhesion. still have to use it ocassionally but it works well

I dont know if its because Ive got cheap solder or cheap tips, but Ive always had a real tough time getting my tips tinned. This stuff, however, makes it incredibly easy! It makes a tremendous difference to my work rate, just dip it and get soldering!

Prolongs the usability of your soldering iron tip keeping it tend tip is crucial this is much better than using plain solder to tin your tip

I mean reallY, what can You saY about tinner. Its tinner. This works exactlY as it should. No problems.

I had problems keeping my soldering iron tip clean and tinned, and the tips kept corroding, especially when the iron is left in the holder for several minutes or more when I am working on a project. I decided to try this tinner, hoping I could make the tips last longer. It really does a great job. It just takes a second or two to plunge the tip in the container, and it comes out tinned all around, making it easy to solder circuit boards. I re-tin when I put the iron back in the holder, and have not seen any corrosion of the tip.

This stuff really works well after I finish using my X-Tronic Model 3020 Soldering iron, clean it with the Brass ball, then dip it in this powder. Funny it bubble and turns to silver on the hot tip in seconds like when you get solder on it. Keeps my Tip looking Shiny and new, works better melting the solder quicker also.

This product helps to keep has new your solder tip. Even those chinese brand tips that doesnt came with a tin layer, it helps aderetion.
