> 3 dayOnly put your soldering tips in this stuff, not your biological tips. Biggest downside is that it gives off more fumes than flux, so youll want to either use it directly next to your fume extractor, or wear a mask.

> 3 dayI thought this was just some kind of powdered flux that would coat the soldering tip. But its actually solder, and melts and coats the tip nicely with one dip. So I dont have to melt some solder onto the tip ... a positive surprise on this one. Is it worth the $7 or so instead of using your solder? If you keep the solder tip clean, you can just as soon use solder. But now that I have this, Ill use it.

> 3 daySimple use- Heat up soldering iron to operating temp. then place tip in tinner. The only con I have is that the cap is not screw on/off & is near impossible to secure once removed from packaging- one star knocked off. Overall, must buy if using to improve heat conductivity, but buy some tape while youre at it.

Greater than one weekThis is an excellent tip tinner. None better. But, it is very pricey. You will use the product in its SMALL can very quickly. There isnt a whole lot in this can which is disappointing.

> 3 dayWorks great! Im using some fairly cheap tips, but this is keeping them shiny and un-corroded. I use lead-free solder, so I tend to run at higher temps and that has the unfortunate tendency to burn up cheap tips fairly quickly. This and a brass sponge, and its doing great!

> 3 dayThis stuff is great for rejuvenating my tips after cleaning- way better than the manual way with solder after sponging the tip.
