this umbrella is a good size, very durable, but the only thing about this is that if it did not dry properly the tips at the edge of the umbrella would rust. MAKE SURE TO DRY before storing.

This is an average to good umbrella. It definitely keeps the rain out, feels relatively sturdy and the blue looks nice. It is also compact enough to fit in the side pockets of my Subaru doors. My chief issue is the weight and claim that it is golf-sized. I have a golf umbrella that is several inches larger and much lighter. This one also has a relatively short handle, meaning I have to hold it higher to keep out the rain. Overall, its a decent buy for the price.

I wanted something large enough to protect both shoulders (and most of my lower body if not too windy). It also needed to be able to auto-open, and be sturdy enough to stand up to most winds. This is a great size (both folded and open). My only complaint is that its a bit heavy, but I suppose thats an acceptable trade-off for being a bit larger and more sturdy than others.

While functional as an umbrella, the darn thing wont stay closed, the handle just keeps popping open due to the latch just not latching well. Makes it useless as a collapsable umbrella, though as a full sized umbrella its pretty ok.

*Unusual for such a compact umbrella: its high quality gust buster dual canopy holds up very well in strong winds. *Nice padded rubberized handle. *One-handed push-button operation opens reliably when youre holding stuff in other hand and rain is pouring down. *Broad coverage, yet folds compact for stowing in briefcase or backpack. *Red and Black is very visible in crosswalks on dark, rainy Boston days.

I love this umbrella. Ive had it a few months and it has withstood some nasty downpours. I live in New York City, and this umbrella is sized just right: big enough to keep me dry, but not so big that Im one of those people who hog the whole sidewalk with my massive umbrella. It handles wind well, too. I only have two criticisms, neither of which is enough to knock a star off: 1. When folded up, its just a little too big to fit in my backpack, which would be nice. 2. Sometimes, when walking, the flap on top will make a rhythmic thump-thump with each step I take Other than that, its perfect for me.

Seems to be solidly constructed as it is a bit heavier that I anticipated. Not a complaint. Opens efficiently and is broad enough for two. Perhaps it will endure stormy weather in a manner fitting to its apparent quality.

I am sick of disposable umbrellas. I wanted a sturdy umbrella that would hold up to wind and I could tuck into my briefcase. This is more convenient than a traditional golf umbrella in that it collapses, but as previous reviewers have commented it is on the large size. I have a nylon briefcase/bag and this does fit in it, but not discretely--it projects out the top. However, as I travel by foot among several buildings this is useful to have available. I am willing to trade length for functionality (the extra panel for wind) . I wear glasses and absolutely detest getting water on them, hence the desire for an umbrella (I never know when a rain shower will pop up). Also the pattern (blue and white) makes it obvious, which is helpful in the dark or reduced visibility situations. I was once almost hit by a car while in a cross walk because I was wearing a dark coat and they just didnt see me.

After several (fairly expensive) golf umbrellas that fell apart after a few uses, this umbrella seems to be well made and fairly robust. Most of the large umbrellas Ive found use cheap plastic frames that break apart quickly and are impossible to repair. This umbrella has a lightweight metal frame and a folding action that works very smoothly. I would expect it to last through many seasons.

Somewhat heavier and bigger than expected, but it keeps the rain out and I dont feel like its going to invert in a heavy rain.
