03-06-2025This umbrella is awesome! It is very large & sturdy and vented. Its got a comfortable handle and it just fits in my backpack. Havent tried it against major winds yet, but when I do, I will update this review concerning its performance. Update: Almost a year later & still love this umbrella! Have had no issues with it on windy days. Great purchase!

> 3 dayNice! Its not a mini umbrella but isnt huge, either. It wont fit in a briefcase. Its solid and well made. I had my first use with it when I got out of my car at the waterfront with 34mph gusts -- the wind hit the inside of the umbrella, and it didnt turn inside out. Thats all I need.

Greater than one weekFantastic umbrella. Does not turn inside out when a strong wind comes and is really durable. Ive had mine for well over a year and use it every time it rains. Still works great. I will buy another one when I need a new umbrella. I couldnt ask for anything more than this product offers.

Greater than one weekI just received this umbrella today, so it hasnt been rain/wind tested yet. I looked it over, opened it up and inspected it. Everything looks good. No holes, no snags, and no loose pieces. The color was as expected. It feels solid and doesnt feel that heavy to me. Its not as light as a little tote umbrella, but its three times the size! Update: Been in a few rain storms in South Florida and its holding up fine. I dont think its that heavy at all. If Id change anything, Id have made the handle a bit longer. It barely fits in my hand. For an umbrella this big, a longer handle would be nice.

> 3 dayThis is a great umbrella for the price. My only issue is with the word compact. yea, its more like compact-ish. Its not quite a tote, not something you could toss into a bag, but smaller than a full-size. The trade-off is that it covers quite a bit more than a tote umbrella. Solidly built.

> 3 day2nd one I bought (lost the first one, not due to breakage). This is a great umbrella. Good size, gives plenty of cover for two. Wind vents keep the flaps down under everything but the craziest wind gusts. Its a bit heavy and doesnt fit in your backpack without sticking out, but I prefer this folks away design to the cane style umbrellas, and I feel its built better.

> 3 daySeemed to be okay, but I misplaced and before I had a chance to use it. I replaced it with a Totes 8709 X-Large, and am much happier with that.

> 3 dayProvides a good balance between size when opened and size when closed (can fit in my backpack). I bought a second one because my kid stole my first one, which I received from Totes after a different model failed with little use. Their products have a lifetime warranty and they will honor it. So glad they sent me one of these, because Im totally sold on them now.

Greater than one weekGreat, HUGE umbrella for me. The umbrella has a premium and sturdy look. Its slightly heavier than I thought for a umbrella larger than 55. But Im happy with it. Only thing I noticed is you need to use a little more force to close it and you need to push it open after pressing THE button, lets say its semi-automatic action. Anyway, its a pretty good one Ill say.

> 3 dayI bought this hoping it would be small enough to fit in my bag. It was bigger than I anticipated so it doesnt fit in my bag, but it does seem to be a sturdy umbrella. Got flipped inside out by the wind the second time I used it, and normally that ruins them, but this still seems to be running strong.
